A graph of Chinese social mood

Social mood can be positive or negative, in a rising or falling trend, but this is an average. There are always some people who remain upbeat and optimistic during negative social mood, while others remain pessimistic as social mood rises. In China, social mood isn't completely negative, but when I saw this chart I immediately thought: Chinese social mood. It is a ratio of rising home prices (green) to falling home prices (red), with unchanged in white.

Chinese social mood is not this negative, but the trend is the same. Real estate may also serve as a better indicator than normal in China because the bubbly real estate sector is on everyone's mind. Few people discuss the stock market these days, but everyone thinks about property prices. Those looking to buy became happier as this chart fell if they were rational, but they may have also turned pessimistic along with the general social mood.
