Private fixed asset investment increased month on month, from a 6.7% increase in September to an 8.6% increase yoy in October, but this is still below the 2015 cumulative 10.2% growth rate. Total fixed asset investment also ticked up from 6.8% in September to 9.4% overall. The big question I have is, did the local governments start their push for Q4 GDP growth? The bounce from the month earlier is a solid, but if that's all the local governments could manage, the trend points to low single digit growth by mid-2016.
