A Bathroom in Beijing Is Worth A House in Yinchuan

A new report list home prices in all 31 capital cities in China, with the result that a bathroom in Beijing is worth as much as a 50 sqm house in Yinchuan.

Beijing is tops overall at 48,847 per sqm, followed by Shanghai at 44,750. Surging prices in Nanjing has pushed the city to third at 22,248, topping Guangzhou. Nanjing is the only second-tier city above 20,000 yuan per sqm.
