Very interesting price increase. Are soybeans listed, or are they included under liangshi ?
ReplyDeleteIt's not broken out in the CPI report. Soymeal prices have held up in the futures market. #1 soybean in Dalian is holding up as well, but #2 soybean is down. There's also this from SCMP: Why China’s pork producers can survive without US soybean imports. That article discusses various protein replacements.
