Down to about $2.45 in evening trading in the U.S., following a slew of negative coronavirus news including a travel ban from Europe, NBA season suspended after Utah Jazz player tests positive and Tom Hanks infected. Copper exports are 5 percent of Peru's GDP. I am short copper futures and Credicorp (BAp), Peru's largest bank. Latin American currencies slumped today and again following this news blast. T his weekend I posted Latin America on the brink, looking at some charts there, nearly all looking very bearish.
