Fox News: Ted Cruz spent much of 2021 putting 'radical' Biden nominees on their heels

Much of Sen. Ted Cruz’s year has been dedicated to challenging President Biden’s "radical" and "dangerous" nominees to the federal government, a tactic that may pay off next month when the Senate votes on whether to impose sanctions on the Russian-German Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

Cruz, a Texas Republican and member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, struck a deal with Senate Democrats during a late-night session last weekend and lifted more than 30 of his holds on State and Treasury department nominations in exchange for a promised vote in January on sanctioning the companies involved in the $11 billion natural gas pipeline, which would carry Russian gas to Germany. The Senate has since confirmed dozens of Biden’s nominations, including more than three dozen ambassadors who were being held up by Republicans.

..."Major victory," Cruz wrote on Twitter. "When the Senate reconvenes, we'll finally have a vote on sanctioning Putin's pipeline. And if senators value national security & are willing to stand up to Putin, we should vote overwhelmingly to sanction NordStream2."

Ted Cruz, supposed right-winger, is going to wave through dozens of nominees that he has told his base are extremists (and some of them are like the shoplifting communist). This is not important to him. What is important to him, is putting sanctions on Russia and Germany for building a gas pipeline between their countries. How does this help the average American? It doesn't. It does help American frackers sell gas to Europe though, which incidentally will push up the cost of natural gas and make inflation worse for the average American. Nancy Pelosi is probably buying call options on LNG exporters as I type.

This is the game the regime plays with the public. All the battles are kabuki theater for the plebs while they loot the country via inflation and insider trading, shut down small business and fire working class people by the millions, and send their sons and daughters to die in pointless wars to further their own empire of grift.

When the public finds their man he is going to rule like a dictator for a time because most of the ruling class will be thrown from power if lucky or head to prison if not so lucky. There won't be any opposition and the American people will cheer the clean sweep of the current crop of politicians, bureaucrats, institutional heads, people who serve on corporate and NGO boards, and the managerial class in corporate America. Pray that man is more Washington or Jackson than Lincoln, Wilson or FDR.
