U.S. Generals Openly Plot Military Coup in WaPo

It is possible that the military will break into pro- and anti-Trump camps, leading to civil war, the generals argue. Enemy countries might take advantage of this chaos to launch attacks.

“In a contested election, with loyalties split, some might follow orders from the rightful commander-in-chief, while others might follow the Trumpian loser. Arms might not be secured depending on who was overseeing them. Under such a scenario, it is not outlandish to say a military breakdown could lead to civil war,” they write. “In this context, with our military hobbled and divided, U.S. security would be crippled. Any one of our enemies could take advantage by launching an all-out assault on our assets or our allies.”

The generals call for several actions to blunt the possibility of a coup. One is for political leaders and law enforcement officials to hold to account the politicians who stoked the falsehood that Mr. Trump actually won the 2020 election. Another is for the military to perform a review of the chain of command with service members, to ensure they would not follow illegal orders. A third is for the military to ferret out mutineers and guard against insurrectionists disseminating propaganda within the ranks.

They are setting up the justification for their coup.

January 6 was likely a false flag attack orchestrated by elements of U.S. security forces. There is plenty of evidence of FBI informants instigating the mob and encouraging people to enter the Capitol, both the night before and the day of. These ringleaders haven't been prosecuted nor are they even named as targets of investigation. The initial breach was done by black masked people among whom were Antifa and BLM members. There is video evidence, yet to be shown publicly, of Capitol Police violently beating protesters before the situation escalated. The only deaths that were a result of direct action were protesters killed by Capitol Police.

Prosecutors know this is fact—and it’s precisely why the Justice Department is desperate to keep any video footage or testimony that portrays these vicious assaults out of the public eye. As I have reported, the Justice Department and U.S. Capitol Police want roughly 14,000 hours of surveillance video captured by security cameras on January 6 to remain under protective orders. The trove is considered “highly sensitive” government material by Biden’s Justice Department; even defendants are strictly limited as to how they can view this classified footage used as evidence against them.

Much of it would show a sustained attack on peaceful Americans by D.C.-based law enforcement agencies. But as trials get underway and long-delayed discovery is finally produced by the government, more evidence of egregious, in several cases, criminal, police misconduct, is emerging.

Some cases will pit cop against cop. Thomas Webster, a retired 20-year veteran of the New York City Police Department and decorated Marine charged with assaulting law enforcement on January 6, recently notified the court he will claim self-defense against excessive force in his April trial.

Even if the protest was organic, the narrative around it has turned it into another Gulf of Tonkin or Reichstag fire. The regime is using it as an excuse to assume authoritarian control over the government.

The generals' opinion article should be read as a clear and present danger to the Republic. It tells us the ruling class that controls USG is openly plotting to end democracy by creating a false flag which they will use to overturn the results of the 2024 election.

The regime is in a death spiral. Inflation is out of control and getting it under control will sink stocks and the economy. Their message of hate and division with CRT and similar nonsense is backfiring with hispanic and asian voters shifting to the Republicans. Vaccine mandates and lockdowns are unpopular. Defunding the police and soaring murder and crime rates, a direct result of their policies, are unpopular. They are fomenting a border crisis with Belarus and Russia, there are tensions around Taiwan, and now a domestic threat of civil war. The Durham probe into the Russiagate hoax is now targeting the Clinton campaign. Even President Biden is potentially guilty in the conspiracy as he is on record as advising how to arrest General Flynn on false charges using the Logan Act. This is a criminal regime whose members face decades in prison if their house of cards comes crashing down. If a real outsider takes power, or if enough populists win power in the House and Senate such that they can force a second Trump administration into actually implementing populist policies, there is potential for a wholesale removal of the ruling class in Washington. Of severe penalites for BigTech companies and media outlets that colluded in these conspiracies. Foundations that funded the installment of various political officials and in particular, district attorneys who are letting criminals go free with no charges or no bail. We have seen this play out in other nations around the world. First create the chaos, and then assume authoritarian control to end it. Create the problem and then offer to be the solution. It worked many times, but sometimes it breaks the opposite way with an outsider flipping the script on the regime.
