CDC Shows Death Rate from SARS2 Alone Was 6pc of Total Deaths or 0.0046pc Mortality

Update: I made an error in calculating the mortality. The number is mathematically correct, but the relevant population measure for mortality is cases. I don't trust the case numbers, but even if I use a conservative 20 percent of the population catching SARS2 in 2020, it delivers a SARS2-alone mortality rate of less than 0.03 percent. The death rate was 0.0046 percent in 2020. There were 255,508 deaths from or with SARS2. If 6 percent were from SARS2 alone, that is 15,330 deaths. I found one source with the 2020 population at 331,449,281 in 2020. Link to CDC report (opens a PDF): Conditions contributing to deaths involving COVID-19, by age group, United States. Week ending 2/1/2020 to 12/5/2020.Relevant paragraph from document:
