China Growth is Over

The rapid growth that marked the past 40 years of Chinese history has ended.

ZH: Chinese Oil Demand Set For First Annual Drop In Over Three Decades

There was a question that used to be asked: will China grow old before it grows rich? Demographics are destiny and China's demographic deficit is starting to hit demand.

Remember the commodities implosion of the 2010s? Everyone thought Chinese growth would ramp to the sky. Then copper and iron ore imploded when China didn't destroy its currency with mass printing of currency to fund infrastructure.

Same story now, plus all the commodities bulls who are certain the Western countries will destroy their economies in pursuit of Green communism. A lack of Chinese growth alone could sink commodities, but if the Watermelon economy gets tossed along with the ruling class, it could be quite a drop for certain commodities.
