Im a foreigner living in China. It seems to me that most stocks on the mainland are significantly overpriced compared to the valuations on HK. Technically the HK stocks are trading at a "discount" but do you think it is really a discount?

It's only a relative discount, compared to A shares. It is not a measure of intrinsic value.
