The mother of all abandoned babies. The odds of an island reversal are slim, but the entire top in Google is built off a gap up. That leaves open the potential for a gap down in the future.

This post is a cross between humor and also a sentiment check-in to remind everyone I still think this is a bear market. The kind of bear market that will produce setups such as MOAAB patterns. Maybe this one isn't the one, but some charts that make you say, "Wouldn't it be something if it went like this..." and then follow through are coming. The bond market is one place to find charts with crazy setups. The flip side of this moment are the junior mining stocks with cup-and-handle formations heading for breakouts.
