Beijing New Home Sales and Prices Tick Up In January

Two charts from a recent article on Beijing new home sales. The first shows the number of new home transactions in blue bars (transactions recorded on the govt website) and the average price in red.

This second chart shows the proportion of home sales by size, in this case 90 sqm and smaller apartments.

Sales are up, but not enough to really make a dent in the inventory yet.
