Real Estate Investment Growth Steady

Real estate investment growth was 9.7 percent y/y in April, the same as in March. It pulled the YTD growth to 7.2 percent.

New construction of residential property measured by area has increased 18 percent. Office building area under construction has increased 35 percent.

Land sales are improving, but still down 6.5 percent y/y by area and down 0.2 percent by value.
