MSCI Says No to A-Shares Again

WSJ: MSCI Delays Adding China’s Local Currency Shares to Emerging-Market Index
The firm said Chinese authorities have introduced significant improvements in the accessibility of the China A shares market but said international institutional investors stressed the need for a period of observation to assess the effectiveness of the new trading suspension policies, among other things.
Borrowing from the Fed, MSCI says the addition of A-shares could come before June 2017 if reforms hold.
