What is Modern Conspiracy Theory?

My view of modern conspiracy theory is that is more of a orientation than a specific plot. "Conspiracy theorists" don't necessarily believe in specific conspiracies (although many believe in them all) as much as they believe there is an overarching conspiracy to some degree. A quick example: I don't believe in weather modification conspiracies. I don't think the technology exists. Cloud seeding exists. Weather experiments, even extreme attempts like HAARP might exist (although I don't believe that HAARP was a weather project), but they aren't successful. Natural history and cycles of climate explains everything weather related. 

Are a global elite plotting world government and takeover via claims about climate change? Absolutely. Are they faking the weather to do it? No, because it's not necessary. They have fooled the world with "science." Many "conspiracy theorists" believe in ludicrous conspiracies and ideas, sometimes to their own detriment. Yet this doesn't invalidate their general knowledge of a nefarious plot at work.  

Most of the "overarching narrative" of conspiracy theory is open fact. The Club of Rome, Agenda 21 and various other books and public discussions going back to the Fabians and writers such as Aldous Huxley and Isaac Asimov have existed for more than a century. Science fiction writers openly promoted global government, rule by the scientists in their books. Elites have discussed "problems" such as overpopulation for decades. I put problems quotes because one of the tricks of the trade is to take something that in extremis is obviously a problem, but isn't actually a major problem. As they do with CO2 emissions and the novel coronavirus.

In sum, I'm a believer in the weak form of conspiracy theory. It's an open, self-organizing conspiracy. It moves very slowly. Like one of those optical illusions that show a 3D image if you stare through it, it looks like a bunch of dots, a jumbled mess, if you don't know what you're looking at. At every step of the way, you're a "kook" for saying this is a conspiracy or part of a larger plot. Only by looking at the whole picture, the shift in policies over decades, can one see the sum total of it.

Vox Day is a strong form believer. In They Called Their Shot he writes:

It doesn’t really matter if the satanic elite of Clown World are divinely bound to announce their intentions or if they are simply narcissistic psychopaths who revel more in the knowledge that they are getting away with their wicked deeds than they do in the deeds themselves, the simple fact of the matter is that they do announce their future intentions, albeit always in a manner that provides them with plausible deniability both before and after the fact.

This X-Files episode is not an accident. This is not an astonishing coincidence. This is how, and why, it is relatively easy to interpret current events utilizing well-informed conspiracy analysis. Even when this episode was first broadcast, I immediately noticed the expositional clumsiness and contemplated the possibility that it was blown cover as cover, although I must admit that I forgot about it as time passed. But it was not the only such announcement. This habitual revelation under the cloak of fiction is another reason why anyone who submitted to the vaccine – which I will remind you was relentlessly pushed by international corporations and global depopulationists – was not only blitheringly stupid, but required almost wilful ignorance to do so.

We were warned. We were repeatedly warned. And I can assure you, it vastly amused the wicked of Clown World to see how many of us flat-out refused to believe their repeated warnings. The truth really is out there.

In the end, it doesn't matter if the writer of the X-Files was compiling the openly available information for the show or if it was more of an intentional announcement of future plans. The fact is that, as Vox says, the truth really is out there.

His post was based on the series finale of the X-Files, aired in 2002. Conspirators infect the public with a DNA-altering substance that disables their immune system, rendering them vulnerable to all manner of illnesses. In the show, it was done via the smallpox vaccine and assumed to be heritable. In 2020, govt/media nurtured mass hysteria. Inconvenience created by travel and work restrictions caused hundreds of millions of people to infect themselves with experimental mRNA shots.

Depopulation is a stated goal of a major faction of the ruling class. Feeding children hormone blockers eliminates reproduction. Feminism ("working mothers") reduces fertility. Making real estate more expensive, making life in general more expensive, depresses fertility. Abortion reduces the population. Contraception reduces fertility. Urbanization reduces fertility. Are all these policies part of a vast conspiracy? No, but the faction of the ruling class that wants depopulation greatly encourages all of these ideas. Drawing the line between what is intentional and happy (for them) coincidence is a mostly pointless exercise. A more useful question is, what wouldn't they do? Would they pump a deadly or fertility-reducing agent into the general public? Strong-form conspiracy theorists think yes and most if not all of them didn't get the mRNA shots. I didn't get the shots because I thought the risk/reward didn't make sense. I assumed the shots were riskier than advertised and the virus less dangerous.

Other conspiracy theories are ideas such as the "mark of the beast." No one will be able to travel or shop without the mark. I remember seeing that one in the late 1980s or early 1990s on some religious show while flipping through channels. A microchip would be needed to shop or travel. China and other nations have fully implemented this with vaccine passports via smartphones. Religious people and those who read the Bible are more likely to believe in conspiracies because they believe the Devil exists.

Maybe foresighted people saw the natural progression of technology. Through storytelling, they explained how easily this technology could be abused. Combine it with stated goals of groups like the Club for Rome, it isn't hard to theorize what someone who believes X might do with technology Y or power Z. Someone with evil intent will always be looking to use power and technology for their own ends. The 2nd Amendment exists in the United States because the Founders understood all governments tend towards tyranny. It was put there because they knew their Posterity will probably need it one day. 

I worry that the blockchain will eventually become a system for totalitarian economic control. One blockchain to rule them all, and in the chains, bind them. There are groups out there already deplatforming political dissidents from banks. Researchers at Stanford (marinate on that phrase for a moment) are already discussing how this deplatforming isn't thorough enough because the banned are building their own platforms and companies, from which they cannot be deplatformed again: Gabufacturing Dissent: An in-depth analysis of Gab

Our findings document several unintended real-world side effects of the deplatforming of both users and platforms, raising the possibility that other interventions on mainstream platforms such as downranking and limiting visibility might curb toxic content more effectively than shifting the problem elsewhere. If deplatforming is deemed the most desirable solution for a given scenario, it may be that this deplatforming would need to be more thorough and widespread to be effective. Hence, more study is needed in several areas...

...For example, payment processors have already cut ties with Gab—is there more that could be done to disrupt other financial flows? Answering these questions may prove crucial to developing more holistically effective Trust and Safety practices at the platform, infrastructure, and regulatory levels.

I can explain it to you, but I cannot understand it for you. It's all being done in plain sight. You can either accept it or not. You don't have to become a "conspiracy theorist." Maybe it's all a general decline in civilization, the historical cycle with democracy collapsing into tyranny. Once you see the trend though, you'll see all the evidence in the news, in the proposed policies, in the propaganda. Some highly-placed people and organizations are helping this all along. It doesn't matter how much you believe in the intentionality of it at that point, you are a "conspiracy theorist" because you can see that events are linked. That a larger force is at work.

Red Flag Laws aka Tyranny

There some talk of making it easier to use red flag laws against people. It's a blank check for government tyranny on par with what the British Crown was using against the American colonists three centuries ago. Here is a comment on YouTube video. The link goes to the video, scroll down to see the comment. I assume the video and or comment will eventually be taken down, not because there's anything wrong with it, but because the growign authoritarian censorship will eventually consume everything. I assume nothing that is on the blockchain or hardcoped is at risk of being wiped out at some point.

I was red flagged in Maryland, a judge ordered my guns returned within 48 hours. It was an awful experience, cost me 10k in attorney fees, the cops set cps on my wife and I, and i didn't get my guns back for months even though the judge ordered them returned. If you want more information I'd be happy to share with proof. EDIT: I'm going to provide additional details below since people seem interested.

They didn't kick-in my door, they actually called me out front of my apartment complex and had a team our there waiting who cuffed me. For those wondering why I went down in the first place.... They don't exactly tell you that you're going to be red-flagged, I didn't even know it was firearms related and thought they just wanted to talk. Once I found out why they were they I told them they would need a warrant. The officer on scene told me they could do that but then SWAT would kick in my front door, he then suggestively asked if I had a dog, so I told him I had a German Shepherd. He said if I let them in and cooperated he'd make sure that she wasn't harmed, basically I caved-in to save my dog.

There are a lot more details but here are the key facts:

1) I spent around 10k on attorneys fees, 1 to get me out of the hospital's psych ward, a second to go with me to court, and a third to help me navigate CPS

2) I'm in a conservative county in Maryland, and the judge I got was FURIOUS with the officer. He said they were to release my gun immediately (I only had one in my apartment, the rest were in storage) and thought the law was being abused. I went to the station with my attorney and was told I couldn't have my gun until they ran an ATF trace, which could take over a month. (even though handguns are registered and tracked in Maryland already ).

3) The police showed up with CPS who had to do an in-home interview with my wife and kids. Yes, apparently red-flag laws can result in having your children taken away. Luckily that went smoothly but it was scary!

4) oh and I also got over a thousand dollars worth of medical bills, luckily insurance covered it and the county waved the ambulance fee after I complained,

there are a lot more details but the biggest take-away is that it would have been better if I had been arrested. You have no rights in a hospital and since I was refusing all treatment including a covid test or wearing a mask, they denied all food an water. If my parents hadn't hired an attorney, I would have been forcibly committed, and lost my gun rights permanently. I'm not rich but I was able to shell -out money for attorneys, people who can't do that would just be SOL. One final note, my parents had to hire the attorney because I wasn't allowed to, I was in a hospital not jail... again you don't really have rights as a "patient"

The key is to understand the occupied government in Washington, DC has already declared Trump voters aka white supremacy the greatest threat and a terrorist threat. Add in all the war, pharma, etc. dissenters on the left and more than half the country is, in the opinion of the ruling class, in violation of red flag laws.

Is American Culture Dead? Dirty Harry at 50

As a student of cycles and social mood, I have often wondered about the coming cultural wave. Dirty Harry was a movie produced in an American society that had its first taste of liberalism taken to its extremes and the resulting chaos. There was soaring crime, riots, drug use and general decay starting in the 1960s. The early 1970s produced a reaction with Dirty Harry, then Death Wish. By the early 1980s, the action hero's were on the scene. Three-strikes-you're-out laws and mass incarceration were the response to lawless violence.

This violence and chaos of this era is worse than the 1970s, but perhaps less shocking because the population has been desensitized to how bad things are compared to before. About a third of the population are immigrants or descended from immigrants who never knew that America was once a far better place to live. They have little connection to a past that the ruling class intentionally hid from them. A backlash is already taking shape, we can see the political outlines hinting at massive shifts in voting, but the cultural response that would have led the politics in a prior era is suppressed by censorship.

The ruling class' grip is tighter than at anytime in American history, yet this may prove to be their undoing because when the change comes it will not be gradual. Elites can adapt to slowly changing society, but when it snaps, the ruling class finds itself so far out of touch as to have become the villian of the story. Consider how DAs in California and other states are letting murderers go free. People arrested with AR-15s (supposedly dangerous assault weapons these politicians want banned) and drugs, involved in robberies and murders, are let go without charges by these DAs. Here is only the latest example I've seen, these are a dime a dozen if you go looking through local news: DC police arrest then RELEASE seven men accused of stealing puppy at GUNPOINT, and who are also suspected of taking French bulldog 17 minutes later, despite finding them in gun and drug-filled apartment

In the 1970s, the courts went soft on crime. Sentences were shortened. Clearly guilty criminals let go on newly created technicalities. Yet for the most part, guilty criminals swere arrested, went to trial, and faced sentencing. Now, the government lets them go free. The government, the ruling class, is one the side of the criminals. Who might a 2020s "Dirty Harry" target? The movies that will be made, cannot be made in this environment, but once that movie is made, it will be over for the ruling class. There's censorship and thought control because the ruling class understands how tenuous its grip on power is becoming.

Law & Liberty: Dirty Harry's Justice

Even in our unhappy times, Dirty Harry stands out, because its protagonist is everything our elites hate: A proud white male authority figure who enforces the law without concern for what we would now call the “optics.” This is not a man who hesitates to kill or suffers a bad conscience over doing what is necessary to protect the innocent. The film would be impossible to make today, since it is so blind to the cries of systemic racism and toxic masculinity that so dominate woke criticism.

Predictably, art has decayed alongside public debate. Dirty Harry was prescient in warning about a future without freedom. Indeed, our elites gradually narrowed the circle of ideas that can be debated and policies people can vote for. They threw out the notion that the rights of ordinary Americans matter, so that authorities no longer feel duty-bound to protect persons and property from destruction.

Forget Free Speech: Remove the Censors

Years ago, pundits assumed the internet would open a new era of democracy, giving everyone access to the truth. But dictators like Putin and demagogues like Trump have demonstrated how naive that assumption was.

At least the US responded to Trump’s lies. Trump had 88 million Twitter followers before Twitter took him off its platform – just two days after the attack on the Capitol, which he provoked, in part, with his tweets. (Trump’s social media accounts were also suspended on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitch and TikTok.)

These moves were necessary to protect American democracy.

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

The doubt increasingly creeping into my mind is that everyone who wants censorship should lose their free speech. That we should not try to create free speech while these people are around or in power, but that the solution is to remove them from power and the wider society. All major media outlets should be banned, all journalists working at major media outlets should be "deplatformed" for life if they called for censorship.

The march to authoritarian and totalitarian society is underway for one reason and one reason alone: the opponents of tyranny believe they are fighting society or technology or culture or some other force. They think they can oppose it with debate and education. No. There is one way to solve the crisis: remove the authoritarians.

Orban in Hungary did this. He created a free country with open debate. Those who opposes Orban, who claim Hungarian society is not free, are the same people calling for censorship all over the West. The ruling class is terrified that people will learn the great lesson from Hungary: that the ruling class and most of what we view as the fruit of a free society in the West, from gay marriage and transgenderism to climate and systemic racism, to endless wars all over the globe, bailouts for Wall Street, shipping jobs overseas (free trade is a false ideology too), mass immigration...it is all a manufactured belief system by an authoritarian ruling class.

Once their grip on the key societal control points is gone, it all collapses. Someone who genuinely believes in all these ideas would never be worried that people online oppose them. That people debate them. They are panicked over the Internet and free speech and run from debate because they know their beliefs are all false ideas that cannot compete. Or maybe they believe in their ideas, but know they'd be extremely lucky to get 20 percent of the vote if they openly stated their beliefs. They also may believe, in a bit of projection, that those who oppose them merely push their own false ideas. Non-Christian, "post-modernists" may believe there is no truth except power, therefore censoring your enemies is good because it's lies versus lies, and only one set of lies can win. They cannot fathom that there are people out there who still believe in the Truth. And then there is the smallest number among them, those who know exactly whom they serve and who they oppose.

Warner Bros has bowed to Chinese censors and edited out specific references to a gay relationship in the latest Harry Potter movie, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

The Chinese version of the movie removed six seconds from the cut, including two lines of dialogue that referenced a previous romantic relationship between two lead characters, Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald, portrayed in the film by Jude Law and Mads Mikkelsen.

The lines in question were, “because I was in love with you” and “the summer Gellert and I fell in love”. The rest of the film remained intact and it’s understood there is still a close relationship between the characters.

A CCP stamp of approval on a film or television program would be great information for parents who don't want their children groomed for statuatory rape and sodomy.

Elon Musk is Tying to Decolonize Twitter

The world is so inverted that racist, anti-Western Indians and Chinese colonize American institutions, use them to punish Americans who had nothing to do with past colonization, and justify it by a moral appeal to prior colonization...without ever realizing they have now inverted their moral standing. All the anti-white and anti-American propaganda can be tolerated when it is seemingly coming from whites and guilt-ridden Westerners. One may disagree, but it seems authentic. Indians and Chinese are clearly not white though, and many of them harbor legitimately racist ideas about their own ethnic and religious superiority. When the same words and ideas that were tolerated before come out of their mouths, the jig is up. They out themselves as invaders and colonists.

One cannot immigrate to a foreign country and credibly claim to be a member of that society, while harboring such bigoted ideas and openly proclaiming them. It would never even cross my mind to speak about a foreign country in the way these people do, while being in that country as a tourist, let alone an immigrant. To move there would be to tacitly accept the culture and way of life, or at least be tolerant of it.

If you fully understand this dichotomy, then you can understand why banning things like CRT, and talk of white privilege and systemic racism is crucial to preventing a social disaster. The country is racially oppressing a majority of the population, they are persecuting the younger generation, and in another 10 years or so it will be impossible to stop what follows. The Baizuo will die off and be replaced by openly racist Indians, Chinese and so forth. A generation of now-adult whites will realize they've been racially persecuted their entire lives by foreign racists. Minority groups such as blacks and Hispanics are either already racist against these groups, or resent them for their relative wealth and power within the ranks of the Democrats. There are already fights between blacks and Hispanics and Asians over school budgets and policy in diverse states such as California. The toxic mentality described by Wax in these videos is running wild because Baizuo have created this "safe space" for extreme racism and bigotry as long as it is anti-white.

Whether you agree or not, the fact that this is starting to be openly talked about is a sign of what is coming. We are living in the peak Baizuo moment. People openly spouting bigotry against the majority population and claiming moral justification for it, on the assumption the population will never lift a finger against them, are in for a shock. They will be doubly and triple shocked when both their pro-American co-ethnics and their ancestral governments side against them too.

Discord's new policies ban dangerous health misinformation

Discord hasn't been as active in fighting pandemic misinformation as social networks, but it appears ready to change its tune. According to Protocol, Discord is updating its community policies to ban any misinformation that poses a "significant risk" of physical or social harm, including claims that threaten "public health." A chat server could face action if it spreads falsehoods about COVID-19 vaccines, to put it another way. The community rules also bar spam, manipulative bots, fake accounts, bad-faith account reporting and "malicious" impersonation of others. The guidelines also forbid hate linked to age, caste, gender identity and serious illnesses. Discord will also consider "off-platform" activity when making decisions on bans and other policy decisions. Someone who belongs to a hate group or commits real-world crimes could face repercussions online.

Twitch Says It Will Bar Chronic Spreaders of Misinformation

Twitch, the livestreaming site beloved by video gamers that has become a key internet communications service, said on Thursday that it had created new rules aimed at clamping down on egregious purveyors of misinformation.

The company, acknowledging the real-world harms that could come with its rapidly expanding influence, said it would prohibit “harmful misinformation superspreaders who persistently share misinformation on or off of Twitch.”

Twitch will target only channels that meet a handful of criteria. To fall afoul of the new policy, users must be persistently sharing harmful misinformation that has been widely debunked, the company said, adding that it had “selected these criteria because taken together they create the highest risk of harm, including inciting real-world harm.”

Remember that saying things such as "men can't have babies" is dangerous and debunked misinformation.

Still No Taper: Fed Buys 98 55 Billion in February

Update: I don't know if I typed a number wrong or if they changed the data. A couple years ago I'd be confident it was my error. In any event, the Fed did reduce buying to $55 billion as of the third week in February. There is still one week left of February data. They were only supposed to buy about $30 billion. Still more than they've said, but it is less than the near $100 billion...

I'm not counting the week ending February 2 as being in February, so it's only three weeks of buying. It's all done in plain sight. The Fed is the greatest cause of uncertainty in the market. Will they pull the rug out from the markets and actually cut asset buying from their $100 billion pace since November, or will they keep buying $100 billion per month forever? They've lied for four straight months now. Why should we expect the truth anymore? Is there a single reporter out there with the guts to ask this question? No, because if they ask it, that will end their career reporting on the Federal Reserve. USG is a weak, corrupt, failed state. It's ruling class populated by weak, corrupt, morally vile people who range from warmongers to pedophiles at the extremes.

Charity for the Misled: Covid is Over

Social media has become toxic for two reasons. One is intentional. "Triggering" people is an effective technique for driving engagement. Has been the case long before social media. Controversial people and topics attract eyeballs. The other is social mood. It's negative and people like fighting. Mix it together and the toxic stew that is Twitter and Facebook emerges.

The people in the video, the people they represent, are not your enemy. They were misled by the media, government and institutions. They were lied to, they were terrorized. They are probably still terrorized by fake threats such as climate change, systemic racism and Russian invasions. Now is the time to wake up some people who are realizing they've been lied to. And even if they don't change their mind on topics, they may at least realize they were and are led by liars and psychological abusers. For those who don't change, of course they deserve no respect in the realm of politics. They will parrot whatever is the next lie. But one should take this opportunity to wake more people up, rather than continue a futile battle against people who have no tangible influence on policy.

Gab Launches Parallel Economy Fund

Technology is worthless on its own. The same people who claim blockchain or Bitcoin can liberate people are the same ones who though the Internet would liberate political speech around the world. Instead, authoritarian regimes have achieve more complete control over their nations, while Western authoritarians are now empowered by this technology. Blockchain will create the perfect totalitarian prison where all economic activity takes place under the government's watchful eye or doesn't take place at all, and anyone who doesn't play by those rules can start shopping for their prison gear.

There is a term that has fallen out of usage: political-economy. Law, economics and politics are all intertwined. To leave off one leg of this stool, or to get one leg wrong, will ruin whatever project is being attempted. Assuming one isn't starting from a wrecked base, where simply improving the law can generate extremely positive benefits. Think China 1978, Peru in the early 1990s and so on.

In the West, the advance of authoritarian leftism has gone unchecked for decades. Most of the nominally "conservative" politicians are leftists. Their highest value is anti-racism, aka anti-nationalism and in the American context, anti-white. Conservative politicians spend their energy fomenting for war against Russia and China, undermine border control efforts, deep-six healthcare reform and defend BigTech as it takes apart the lives of free-thinking Americans (and Canadians , Australians, Germans, English and so on...) on the left and right.

Nothing can be gained from debate because debate is illegal. Debate is not wanted. There is no debate with authoritarian power. Ask the truckers of Canada if protest is allowed. People who desire freedom must return to a fundamental understanding of power: the political-economy. Whether diversity caused it or not, America has split into different nations. The United States of America is a false construct. Where "we" would debate before, there is only expression of power now. People who hate America, Americans and Christians their history, culture, people, politics and God, do not debate things like history or economics. They tear down statues, they ban symbols, they have their enemies arrested, fined and/or imprisoned. The shut down their businesses. They imprison them in their homes, inject them with experimental drugs, treat their children worse than criminals.

There is no way to stop this without accumulating power. If it were possible to debate again in the future, that first requires establishing a power base. If debate can not happen anymore, then Americans must prepare for persecution and eventually war. In the context of 4G, war has already started, but most of the public doesn't realize it yet. Eventually, the parallel economy will develop a functional parallel currency, and that's when things will get very interesting.

Even if you aren't interested in politics, politics will be interested in you. It will be impossible to not choose a side in the coming years. As happened with vaccines and mandates, people who went along will suddenly find they don't want to go along anymore. The circle of acceptable thinking and contrary opinions will keep shrinking. As the failures of USG pile up, the currency will eventually crack. There's already talk of price controls because of inflation. The Baizuo blame high prices on greed, instead of incompetent government and central banking policies. Nothing but destruction is coming for people who passively accept the current political-economy. The only choice is to accept it or not. If not, then it is long past time to get busy building.

China Has the Momentum to Surpass the USA

It takes time for advantages to pile up, but the graduates from Chinese universities today will likely surpass their American counterparts in 20 years. Or if they don't surpass them, there will be so much more cutting-edge research and technology going on in China, that many American children interested in STEM today should become fluent in Mandarin.

You can see a whole Chinese analysis of, ok, how well did these transformer units, modules, work in this particular AI image processing, implementation, et cetera, et cetera? And you can see the Chinese discussion of it and you can see the English discussion of it. And I’m reminded of when I first started in physics, there was still a hangover from the Cold War, and a lot of people were still learning German and Russian, because there was lots of stuff published in Russian journals that you couldn’t get access to, unless you could read Russian. My father had to learn German and I think, I don’t know if he studied Russian, but he definitely had to learn German as part of his PhD at the University of Minnesota.

So there is that dual kind of reservoir structure evolving now where there’s a separate technological reservoir of information in China. And it’s still in the early phase now, but in some particular areas like AI and software, it’s advancing very fast. Maybe some areas like hypersonics and things like that too.
