Bin Laden's Letter to the American People

The Guardian deleted this letter because it's being interpreted wrong on social media. How does deleting source material qualify as journalism or even basic truth-seeking? There's no way to even combat false interpretations without the source material!
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

From Usama Bin Muhammad Bin Ladin to the American people,

I speak to you about the subject of the ongoing war between you and us. Even though the consensus of your wise thinkers and others is that your time (TN: of defeat) will come, compassion for the women and children who are being unjustly killed, wounded, and displaced in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan motivates me to speak to you.

First of all, I would like to say that your war with us is the longest war in your history and the most expensive for you financially. As for us, we see it as being only halfway finished. If you were to ask your wise thinkers, they would tell you that there is no way to win it because the indications are against it. How will you win a war whose leaders are pessimistic and whose soldiers are committing suicide? If fear enters the hearts of men, winning the war becomes impossible. How will you win a war whose cost is like a hurricane blowing violently at your economy and weakening your dollar?

The Bush administration got you into these wars on the premise that they were vital to your security. He promised that it would be a quick war, won within six days or six weeks; however, six years have passed, and they are still promising you victory and not achieving it. Then Obama came and delayed the withdrawal that he had promised you by 16 more months. He promised you victory in Afghanistan and set a date for withdrawal from there. Six months later, Petraeus came to you once again with the number six, requesting that the withdrawal be delayed six months beyond the date that had been set. All the while you continue to bleed in Iraq and Afghanistan. You are wading into a war with no end in sight on the horizon and which has no connection to your security, which was confirmed by the operation of ‘Umar al-Faruq, which was not launched from the battlefield and could have been launched from any place in the world.

As for us, jihad against the tyrants and the aggressors is a form of great worship in our religion. It is more precious to us than our fathers and sons. Thus, our jihad against you is worship, and your killing us is a testimony. Thanks to God, Almighty, we have been waging jihad for 30 years, against the Russians and then against you. Not a single one of our men has committed suicide, whereas every 30 days 30 of your men commit suicide.

Continue the war if you will.

Palestine shall not be seen captive for we will try to break its shackles.

The United States shall pay for its arrogance with the blood of Christians and their funds.

Peace be upon those who follow right guidance.

Justice is the strongest army, and security is the best way of life, but it slipped out of your grasp the day you made the Jews victorious in occupying our land and killing our brothers in Palestine. The path to security is for you to lift your oppression from us.

Claim: Biden Bribed by Russian Intelligent Asset

If this is true, it's the kind of bombshell that could wreck the current government.

Red State: Burisma Founder Mykola Zlochevsky, Who Allegedly Bribed Joe and Hunter Biden, Is an SVR Asset

It was revealed by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) on Monday that the “foreign national” mentioned in an FD-1023 form by a confidential human source (CHS) not only claimed to have bribed Hunter and Joe Biden but possessed a total of 17 audio recordings of his conversations with them about the arrangement. He created the recordings as a sort of “insurance policy.” It was not clear whether the FBI had copies of the audio recordings or not.

Last week Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Anna Paulina Luna, and Nancy Mace said that the foreign national identified in the FD-1023 form is Zlochevsky.

Unlear if this is true, and if true, if the source was a Russian asset from the start or turned later. If Biden was bribed by a Ukranian now working for Russian intelligence, I assume the American ruling class will try to spin it as Russian interference.

Preamble to War: US Hegemony and Its Perils

China is preparing for war with the United States, or perhaps more narrowly USG and the Baizuo. The document doesn't read like a foreign diplomatic cable, but something closer to a Trump speech. It is rhetoric preparing for more open and direct conflict.

I will leave aside many obvious comments, that I've already seen covered elsewhere. Instead, I'll comment on why I believe Russia remains the greater threat to the American ruling class even though it is the lesser economic power, and for that reason, the lesser military threat over the course of a long war.

The document is heavily tainted by socialist ideology, but this is to be expected. Russia sets itself up as a Christian nation in conflict with the Satanic Baizuo. China is an ideologically Marxist country that frames most conflicts in terms of that ideology. Russia is ultimately the bigger threat to the Baizuo because it appeals to the Baizuo's domestic enemies, to Christians, to traditionalists around the world. China's message here is mainly to the rest of the world, whereas Russia's was directly aimed into the West itself.

For example, the U.S. has reserved its most abusive media manipulation campaigns not for socialist countries, but for traditionalist, Christian and nationalist governments. Hungary has been singled out for abuse and there was only this month or last, a new subversive media effort launched exactly as China describes below. My point is simply that Hungary would be a natural ally for this message, but China cannot make it because it comes with ideological thorns. Similarly, they cannot speak of the U.S. targeting traditional and fundamentalist Islam because they themselves similarly warred upon it in Xinjiang.

This partially explains why Russia is demonized by Baizuo in a way that China is not, why the NBA plays games in China, but the NHL cuts ties with Russian hockey, why Hollywood changes its movies to meet Chinese content rules. Russia is the great enemy because it is culturally similar to the West and the war made upon it is very similar to the war made upon Christians and traditionalists inside of the USA. The Baizuo immediately accepted the absurd claim that Trump's victory was Russia's doing and some secret alliance existed because they consider the both of them enemies and they project their enmity for both into a non-existent alliance against them. They revealed their plot, and assume others must be plotting against them.

For similar reasons, USG won't require an extensive propaganda war against China along the road to war. Whatever doubts about the Ukraine conflict exist in the minds of many Americans, far fewer will doubt that China is "the real enemy." USG will tell the trannies that they are at war with Christ and Russia, while they will tell MAGA they're at war with commies in China. Make no mistake, war is coming in many forms, starting with escalation of economic, political, cyber and information conflict.

The question for Americans is whether they will be fooled by Baizuo draped in red, white and blue, or whether they will, best case, remove them from power before a war escalates or, when conflict begins, leave them alone and surrounded by the Russian and Chinese enemies they called forth.

Introduction

Since becoming the world's most powerful country after the two world wars and the Cold War, the United States has acted more boldly to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, pursue, maintain and abuse hegemony, advance subversion and infiltration, and willfully wage wars, bringing harm to the international community.

The United States has developed a hegemonic playbook to stage "color revolutions," instigate regional disputes, and even directly launch wars under the guise of promoting democracy, freedom and human rights. Clinging to the Cold War mentality, the United States has ramped up bloc politics and stoked conflict and confrontation. It has overstretched the concept of national security, abused export controls and forced unilateral sanctions upon others. It has taken a selective approach to international law and rules, utilizing or discarding them as it sees fit, and has sought to impose rules that serve its own interests in the name of upholding a "rules-based international order."

This report, by presenting the relevant facts, seeks to expose the U.S. abuse of hegemony in the political, military, economic, financial, technological and cultural fields, and to draw greater international attention to the perils of the U.S. practices to world peace and stability and the well-being of all peoples.

I. Political Hegemony -- Throwing Its Weight Around

The United States has long been attempting to mold other countries and the world order with its own values and political system in the name of promoting democracy and human rights.

◆ Instances of U.S. interference in other countries' internal affairs abound. In the name of "promoting democracy," the United States practiced a "Neo-Monroe Doctrine" in Latin America, instigated "color revolutions" in Eurasia, and orchestrated the "Arab Spring" in West Asia and North Africa, bringing chaos and disaster to many countries.

In 1823, the United States announced the Monroe Doctrine. While touting an "America for the Americans," what it truly wanted was an "America for the United States."

Since then, the policies of successive U.S. governments toward Latin America and the Caribbean Region have been riddled with political interference, military intervention and regime subversion. From its 61-year hostility toward and blockade of Cuba to its overthrow of the Allende government of Chile, U.S. policy on this region has been built on one maxim-those who submit will prosper; those who resist shall perish.

The year 2003 marked the beginning of a succession of "color revolutions" -- the "Rose Revolution" in Georgia, the "Orange Revolution" in Ukraine and the "Tulip Revolution" in Kyrgyzstan. The U.S. Department of State openly admitted playing a "central role" in these "regime changes." The United States also interfered in the internal affairs of the Philippines, ousting President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. in 1986 and President Joseph Estrada in 2001 through the so-called "People Power Revolutions."

In January 2023, former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo released his new book Never Give an Inch: Fighting for the America I Love. He revealed in it that the United States had plotted to intervene in Venezuela. The plan was to force the Maduro government to reach an agreement with the opposition, deprive Venezuela of its ability to sell oil and gold for foreign exchange, exert high pressure on its economy, and influence the 2018 presidential election.

◆ The U.S. exercises double standards on international rules. Placing its self-interest first, the United States has walked away from international treaties and organizations, and put its domestic law above international law. In April 2017, the Trump administration announced that it would cut off all U.S. funding to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with the excuse that the organization "supports, or participates in the management of a programme of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization." The United States quit UNESCO twice in 1984 and 2017. In 2017, it announced leaving the Paris Agreement on climate change. In 2018, it announced its exit from the UN Human Rights Council, citing the organization's "bias" against Israel and failure to protect human rights effectively. In 2019, the United States announced its withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty to seek unfettered development of advanced weapons. In 2020, it announced pulling out of the Treaty on Open Skies.

The United States has also been a stumbling block to biological arms control by opposing negotiations on a verification protocol for the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and impeding international verification of countries' activities relating to biological weapons. As the only country in possession of a chemical weapons stockpile, the United States has repeatedly delayed the destruction of chemical weapons and remained reluctant in fulfilling its obligations. It has become the biggest obstacle to realizing "a world free of chemical weapons."

◆ The United States is piecing together small blocs through its alliance system. It has been forcing an "Indo-Pacific Strategy" onto the Asia-Pacific region, assembling exclusive clubs like the Five Eyes, the Quad and AUKUS, and forcing regional countries to take sides. Such practices are essentially meant to create division in the region, stoke confrontation and undermine peace.

The U.S. arbitrarily passes judgment on democracy in other countries, and fabricates a false narrative of "democracy versus authoritarianism" to incite estrangement, division, rivalry and confrontation. In December 2021, the United States hosted the first "Summit for Democracy," which drew criticism and opposition from many countries for making a mockery of the spirit of democracy and dividing the world. In March 2023, the United States will host another "Summit for Democracy," which remains unwelcome and will again find no support.

II. Military Hegemony -- Wanton Use of Force

The history of the United States is characterized by violence and expansion. Since it gained independence in 1776, the United States has constantly sought expansion by force: it slaughtered Indians, invaded Canada, waged a war against Mexico, instigated the American-Spanish War, and annexed Hawaii. After World War II, the wars either provoked or launched by the United States included the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, the Kosovo War, the War in Afghanistan, the Iraq War, the Libyan War and the Syrian War, abusing its military hegemony to pave the way for expansionist objectives. In recent years, the U.S. average annual military budget has exceeded 700 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 40 percent of the world's total, more than the 15 countries behind it combined. The United States has about 800 overseas military bases, with 173,000 troops deployed in 159 countries.

According to the book America Invades: How We've Invaded or been Militarily Involved with almost Every Country on Earth, the United States has fought or been militarily involved with almost all the 190-odd countries recognized by the United Nations with only three exceptions. The three countries were "spared" because the United States did not find them on the map.

◆ As former U.S. President Jimmy Carter put it, the United States is undoubtedly the most warlike nation in the history of the world. According to a Tufts University report, "Introducing the Military Intervention Project: A new Dataset on U.S. Military Interventions, 1776-2019," the United States undertook nearly 400 military interventions globally between those years, 34 percent of which were in Latin America and the Caribbean, 23 percent in East Asia and the Pacific, 14 percent in the Middle East and North Africa, and 13 percent in Europe. Currently, its military intervention in the Middle East and North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa is on the rise.

Alex Lo, a South China Morning Post columnist, pointed out that the United States has rarely distinguished between diplomacy and war since its founding. It overthrew democratically elected governments in many developing countries in the 20th century and immediately replaced them with pro-American puppet regimes. Today, in Ukraine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Pakistan and Yemen, the United States is repeating its old tactics of waging proxy, low-intensity, and drone wars.

◆ U.S. military hegemony has caused humanitarian tragedies. Since 2001, the wars and military operations launched by the United States in the name of fighting terrorism have claimed over 900,000 lives with some 335,000 of them civilians, injured millions and displaced tens of millions. The 2003 Iraq War resulted in some 200,000 to 250,000 civilian deaths, including over 16,000 directly killed by the U.S. military, and left more than a million homeless.

The United States has created 37 million refugees around the world. Since 2012, the number of Syrian refugees alone has increased tenfold. Between 2016 and 2019, 33,584 civilian deaths were documented in the Syrian fightings, including 3,833 killed by U.S.-led coalition bombings, half of them women and children. The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) reported on 9 November 2018 that the air strikes launched by U.S. forces on Raqqa alone killed 1,600 Syrian civilians.

The two-decades-long war in Afghanistan devastated the country. A total of 47,000 Afghan civilians and 66,000 to 69,000 Afghan soldiers and police officers unrelated to the September 11 attacks were killed in U.S. military operations, and more than 10 million people were displaced. The war in Afghanistan destroyed the foundation of economic development there and plunged the Afghan people into destitution. After the "Kabul debacle" in 2021, the United States announced that it would freeze some 9.5 billion dollars in assets belonging to the Afghan central bank, a move considered as "pure looting."

In September 2022, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu commented at a rally that the United States has waged a proxy war in Syria, turned Afghanistan into an opium field and heroin factory, thrown Pakistan into turmoil, and left Libya in incessant civil unrest. The United States does whatever it takes to rob and enslave the people of any country with underground resources.

The United States has also adopted appalling methods in war. During the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, the Kosovo War, the War in Afghanistan and the Iraq War, the United States used massive quantities of chemical and biological weapons as well as cluster bombs, fuel-air bombs, graphite bombs and depleted uranium bombs, causing enormous damage on civilian facilities, countless civilian casualties and lasting environmental pollution.

III. Economic Hegemony -- Looting and Exploitation

After World War II, the United States led efforts to set up the Bretton Woods System, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which, together with the Marshall Plan, formed the international monetary system centered around the U.S. dollar. In addition, the United States has also established institutional hegemony in the international economic and financial sector by manipulating the weighted voting systems, rules and arrangements of international organizations including "approval by 85 percent majority," and its domestic trade laws and regulations. By taking advantage of the dollar's status as the major international reserve currency, the United States is basically collecting "seigniorage" from around the world; and using its control over international organizations, it coerces other countries into serving America's political and economic strategy.

◆ The United States exploits the world's wealth with the help of "seigniorage." It costs only about 17 cents to produce a 100 dollar bill, but other countries had to pony up 100 dollar of actual goods in order to obtain one. It was pointed out more than half a century ago, that the United States enjoyed exorbitant privilege and deficit without tears created by its dollar, and used the worthless paper note to plunder the resources and factories of other nations.

◆ The hegemony of U.S. dollar is the main source of instability and uncertainty in the world economy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States abused its global financial hegemony and injected trillions of dollars into the global market, leaving other countries, especially emerging economies, to pay the price. In 2022, the Fed ended its ultra-easy monetary policy and turned to aggressive interest rate hike, causing turmoil in the international financial market and substantial depreciation of other currencies such as the Euro, many of which dropped to a 20-year low. As a result, a large number of developing countries were challenged by high inflation, currency depreciation and capital outflows. This was exactly what Nixon's secretary of the treasury John Connally once remarked, with self-satisfaction yet sharp precision, that "the dollar is our currency, but it is your problem."

◆ With its control over international economic and financial organizations, the United States imposes additional conditions to their assistance to other countries. In order to reduce obstacles to U.S. capital inflow and speculation, the recipient countries are required to advance financial liberalization and open up financial markets so that their economic policies would fall in line with America's strategy. According to the Review of International Political Economy, along with the 1,550 debt relief programs extended by the IMF to its 131 member countries from 1985 to 2014, as many as 55,465 additional political conditions had been attached.

◆ The United States willfully suppresses its opponents with economic coercion. In the 1980s, to eliminate the economic threat posed by Japan, and to control and use the latter in service of America's strategic goal of confronting the Soviet Union and dominating the world, the United States leveraged its hegemonic financial power against Japan, and concluded the Plaza Accord. As a result, Yen was pushed up, and Japan was pressed to open up its financial market and reform its financial system. The Plaza Accord dealt a heavy blow to the growth momentum of the Japanese economy, leaving Japan to what was later called "three lost decades."

◆ America's economic and financial hegemony has become a geopolitical weapon. Doubling down on unilateral sanctions and "long-arm jurisdiction," the United States has enacted such domestic laws as the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act, and the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act, and introduced a series of executive orders to sanction specific countries, organizations or individuals. Statistics show that U.S. sanctions against foreign entities increased by 933 percent from 2000 to 2021. The Trump administration alone has imposed more than 3,900 sanctions, which means three sanctions per day. So far, the United States had or has imposed economic sanctions on nearly 40 countries across the world, including Cuba, China, Russia, the DPRK, Iran and Venezuela, affecting nearly half of the world's population. "The United States of America" has turned itself into "the United States of Sanctions." And "long-arm jurisdiction" has been reduced to nothing but a tool for the United States to use its means of state power to suppress economic competitors and interfere in normal international business. This is a serious departure from the principles of liberal market economy that the United States has long boasted.

IV. Technological Hegemony -- Monopoly and Suppression

The United States seeks to deter other countries' scientific, technological and economic development by wielding monopoly power, suppression measures and technology restrictions in high-tech fields.

◆ The United States monopolizes intellectual property in the name of protection. Taking advantage of the weak position of other countries, especially developing ones, on intellectual property rights and the institutional vacancy in relevant fields, the United States reaps excessive profits through monopoly. In 1994, the United States pushed forward the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS), forcing the Americanized process and standards in intellectual property protection in an attempt to solidify its monopoly on technology.

In the 1980s, to contain the development of Japan's semiconductor industry, the United States launched the "301" investigation, built bargaining power in bilateral negotiations through multilateral agreements, threatened to label Japan as conducting unfair trade, and imposed retaliatory tariffs, forcing Japan to sign the U.S.-Japan Semiconductor Agreement. As a result, Japanese semiconductor enterprises were almost completely driven out of global competition, and their market share dropped from 50 percent to 10 percent. Meanwhile, with the support of the U.S. government, a large number of U.S. semiconductor enterprises took the opportunity and grabbed larger market share.

◆ The United States politicizes, weaponizes technological issues and uses them as ideological tools. Overstretching the concept of national security, the United States mobilized state power to suppress and sanction Chinese company Huawei, restricted the entry of Huawei products into the U.S. market, cut off its supply of chips and operating systems, and coerced other countries to ban Huawei from undertaking local 5G network construction. It even talked Canada into unwarrantedly detaining Huawei's CFO Meng Wanzhou for nearly three years.

The United States has fabricated a slew of excuses to clamp down on China's high-tech enterprises with global competitiveness, and has put more than 1,000 Chinese enterprises on sanction lists. In addition, the United States has also imposed controls on biotechnology, artificial intelligence and other high-end technologies, reinforced export restrictions, tightened investment screening, suppressed Chinese social media apps such as TikTok and WeChat, and lobbied the Netherlands and Japan to restrict exports of chips and related equipment or technology to China.

The United States has also practiced double standards in its policy on China-related technological professionals. To sideline and suppress Chinese researchers, since June 2018, visa validity has been shortened for Chinese students majoring in certain high-tech-related disciplines, repeated cases have occurred where Chinese scholars and students going to the United States for exchange programs and study were unjustifiably denied and harassed, and large-scale investigation on Chinese scholars working in the United States was carried out.

◆ The United States solidifies its technological monopoly in the name of protecting democracy. By building small blocs on technology such as the "chips alliance" and "clean network," the United States has put "democracy" and "human rights" labels on high-technology, and turned technological issues into political and ideological issues, so as to fabricate excuses for its technological blockade against other countries. In May 2019, the United States enlisted 32 countries to the Prague 5G Security Conference in the Czech Republic and issued the Prague Proposal in an attempt to exclude China's 5G products. In April 2020, then U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced the "5G clean path," a plan designed to build technological alliance in the 5G field with partners bonded by their shared ideology on democracy and the need to protect "cyber security." The measures, in essence, are the U.S. attempts to maintain its technological hegemony through technological alliances.

◆ The United States abuses its technological hegemony by carrying out cyber attacks and eavesdropping. The United States has long been notorious as an "empire of hackers," blamed for its rampant acts of cyber theft around the world. It has all kinds of means to enforce pervasive cyber attacks and surveillance, including using analog base station signals to access mobile phones for data theft, manipulating mobile apps, infiltrating cloud servers, and stealing through undersea cables. The list goes on.

U.S. surveillance is indiscriminate. All can be targets of its surveillance, be they rivals or allies, even leaders of allied countries such as former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and several French Presidents. Cyber surveillance and attacks launched by the United States such as "Prism," "Dirtbox," "Irritant Horn" and "Telescreen Operation" are all proof that the United States is closely monitoring its allies and partners. Such eavesdropping on allies and partners has already caused worldwide outrage. Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks, a website that has exposed U.S. surveillance programs, said that "do not expect a global surveillance superpower to act with honor or respect. There is only one rule: there are no rules."

V. Cultural Hegemony -- Spreading False Narratives

The global expansion of American culture is an important part of its external strategy. The United States has often used cultural tools to strengthen and maintain its hegemony in the world.

◆ The United States embeds American values in its products such as movies. American values and lifestyle are a tied product to its movies and TV shows, publications, media content, and programs by the government-funded non-profit cultural institutions. It thus shapes a cultural and public opinion space in which American culture reigns and maintains cultural hegemony. In his article The Americanization of the World, John Yemma, an American scholar, exposed the real weapons in U.S. cultural expansion: the Hollywood, the image design factories on Madison Avenue and the production lines of Mattel Company and Coca-Cola.

There are various vehicles the United States uses to keep its cultural hegemony. American movies are the most used; they now occupy more than 70 percent of the world's market share. The United States skilfully exploits its cultural diversity to appeal to various ethnicities. When Hollywood movies descend on the world, they scream the American values tied to them.

◆ American cultural hegemony not only shows itself in "direct intervention," but also in "media infiltration" and as "a trumpet for the world." U.S.-dominated Western media has a particularly important role in shaping global public opinion in favor of U.S. meddling in the internal affairs of other countries.

The U.S. government strictly censors all social media companies and demands their obedience. Twitter CEO Elon Musk admitted on 27 December 2022 that all social media platforms work with the U.S. government to censor content, reported Fox Business Network. Public opinion in the United States is subject to government intervention to restrict all unfavorable remarks. Google often makes pages disappear.

U.S. Department of Defense manipulates social media. In December 2022, The Intercept, an independent U.S. investigative website, revealed that in July 2017, U.S. Central Command official Nathaniel Kahler instructed Twitter's public policy team to augment the presence of 52 Arabic-language accounts on a list he sent, six of which were to be given priority. One of the six was dedicated to justifying U.S. drone attacks in Yemen, such as by claiming that the attacks were precise and killed only terrorists, not civilians. Following Kahler's directive, Twitter put those Arabic-language accounts on a "white list" to amplify certain messages.

The United States practices double standards on the freedom of the press. It brutally suppresses and silences media of other countries by various means. The United States and Europe bar mainstream Russian media such as Russia Today and the Sputnik from their countries. Platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube openly restrict official accounts of Russia. Netflix, Apple and Google have removed Russian channels and applications from their services and app stores. Unprecedented draconian censorship is imposed on Russia-related contents.

◆The United States abuses its cultural hegemony to instigate "peaceful evolution" in socialist countries. It sets up news media and cultural outfits targeting socialist countries. It pours staggering amounts of public funds into radio and TV networks to support their ideological infiltration, and these mouthpieces bombard socialist countries in dozens of languages with inflammatory propaganda day and night.

The United States uses misinformation as a spear to attack other countries, and has built an industrial chain around it: there are groups and individuals making up stories, and peddling them worldwide to mislead public opinion with the support of nearly limitless financial resources.

Conclusion

While a just cause wins its champion wide support, an unjust one condemns its pursuer to be an outcast. The hegemonic, domineering, and bullying practices of using strength to intimidate the weak, taking from others by force and subterfuge, and playing zero-sum games are exerting grave harm. The historical trends of peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit are unstoppable. The United States has been overriding truth with its power and trampling justice to serve self-interest. These unilateral, egoistic and regressive hegemonic practices have drawn growing, intense criticism and opposition from the international community.

Countries need to respect each other and treat each other as equals. Big countries should behave in a manner befitting their status and take the lead in pursuing a new model of state-to-state relations featuring dialogue and partnership, not confrontation or alliance. China opposes all forms of hegemonism and power politics, and rejects interference in other countries' internal affairs. The United States must conduct serious soul-searching. It must critically examine what it has done, let go of its arrogance and prejudice, and quit its hegemonic, domineering and bullying practices.

Will Germany Break Free from the United States?

Berlin goes to Beijing: the real deal
According to these sources, the Scholz caravan went to Beijing to essentially lay down the preparatory steps for working out a peace deal with Russia, with China as privileged messenger.

This is – literally – as explosive, geopolitically and geoeconomically, as it gets. As I pointed out in one of my previous columns, Berlin and Moscow were keeping a secret communication back channel – via business interlocutors – right to the minute the usual suspects, in desperation, decided to blow up the Nord Streams.

Cue to the now notorious SMS from Liz Truss’s iPhone to Little Tony Blinken, one minute after the explosions: “It’s done.”

There’s more: the Scholz caravan may be trying to start a long and convoluted process of eventually replacing the US with China as a key ally. One should never forget that the top BRI trade/connectivity terminal in the EU is Germany (the Ruhr valley).

According to one of the sources, “if this effort is successful, then Germany, China and Russia can ally themselves together and drive the US out of Europe.”

Another source provided the cherry on the cake: “Olaf Scholz is being accompanied on this trip by German industrialists who actually control Germany and are not going to sit back watching themselves being destroyed.”

Moscow knows very well what the imperial aim is when it comes to the EU reduced to the role of totally dominated – and deindustrialized – vassal, exercising zero sovereignty. The back channels after all are not lying in tatters on the bottom of the Baltic Sea. Additionally, China has not provided any hint that its massive trade with Germany and the EU is about to vanish.

In the present, the U.S. ruling class seeks empire. Even Trump, who advocated for more nationalism, sought to use American power. He pushed Germany to wean itself from Russian energy instead of telling Germany that NATO is past its due date and American tariffs are coming for German exports. The immediate threat of war comes from the imperiliast attitudes of the American ruling class versus the Russia-China alliance. There is no nationalist political movement that can displace the imperialists yet, although there are growing movements such as the pockets of MAGA and Christian nationalism.

Zooming out in time, the U.S. was never supposed to be an imperial power. It was supposed to be the Shining City on the Hill, a Christian commerical nation that acted as a model to the world. It should rededicate itself to anti-socialism, abandon both empire and free trade, leave NATO, the United Nations, climate groups and all the other globalist NGOs. Reimplement nationlist economic policies and turn it into the fastest growing economy in the world again that play by its own rules.

Germany also has never really been an ally of the United States. It was a conquered territory and allied with the U.S. by force and because the alternative was communist oppression. As the EU commission said when Musk took over Twitter, "the bird flies by our rules." Europe and the United States were pushed into a marriage of convenience against communism, but they have different ideas of governance. The communist threat is gone. Europe and the United States share historic and cultural bonds, but the U.S. influence in Europe is keeping its nationalists from rising. The imperialist tyrants in DC oppress American nationalists along with European nationalists. It's time for the Americans to take power back in their nation and give power back to all the so-called allies that have been living under the thumb of an anti-American imperialist government for the past thirty years.

Don't Sleep on WW3

ZH: Russia To Present 'Evidence' UK Special Forces Behind Crimea Attacks
Moscow says it has firm evidence that Britain's military assisted with last weekend's large-scale drone attack on its Black Sea fleet off Crimea.

Russia said it plans to summon the British ambassador "in the near future" in order to present "evidence" the UK was behind the operation, which had threatened to collapse the UN-brokered Ukrainian grain export deal.

While Russia has on Wednesday announced it is re-entering the grain deal after receiving "guarantees" from Ukraine and Turkey, it is still pointing the finger at London for sending "specialists" to help Kiev forces launch Saturday's drone attack.

Russia probably doesn't want escalation, but that doesn't mean they won't retaliate in some way while the war is ongoing. The risk in wartime isn't always intentional escalation, but often accidental because something goes wrong. Since the psychotics in charge of the key Western governments are looking for escalation though, my hunch is Russia will avoid it for now.

Russia Ready for WW3

I wish every single person in the West would listen to Putin's speech.

Archive link

They're crazy. I want to speak to all Russian citizens, do we want to replace mum and dad with parent 1 and 2? They invented genders and claim you can "transition". Do we want this for our children?

We have a different vision.

They have abandoned religion and embraced Satanism - direct quote.

The world is going through a revolutionary transformation. A multipolar world offers nations freedom to develop as they wish and they make up the majority of the world.

We have many like-minded friends in Western countries. We see and appreciate their support. They are forming

liberation, anti-colonial movements as we speak - direct quote. These will only grow.

We are fighting for a fair world for our country. The idea of exceptionalism is criminal and we must turn this shameful page. The breaking of the West's hegemony is INEVITABLE (emphasis his).

There is no going back. We are fighting for our "great (as in big), historic Russia". Our values are (irony game crescendo): love of our fellow man, compassion and mercy.

Truth is with us, Russia is with us.

Something like a Western civil war could happen. There are people on both sides of this conflict in most countries.

Russia is Ready for Talks

Ukrinform: Putin claims Russia ready for talks, while “annexed” areas not to be discussed
Russia is ready for peace negotiations with Ukraine but their agenda must not include the “accession” to Russia of the previously captured territories.

This was stated by President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation during his Friday speech during the ceremony in the Kremlin where the "agreements" were signed on the so-called "inclusion" into Russia of the territories of Ukraine captured by Russian troops, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We call on the Kyiv regime to immediately stop the war, all hostilities, the war it unleashed back in 2014, and return to the negotiating table. We are ready for this. This has been said more than once. But the choice of the people in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson we will not discuss. It has been made, and Russia will not betray it," Putin said.

RT: Russia calls on Kiev to return to negotiations – Putin
Putin has called on Kiev to treat the “free choice” made by the people of the four territories “with respect.”

“That is the only way for peace,” he added.

Bouncing to Collapse

Nord Stream system suffers multiple ‘unprecedented’ leaks as sabotage not ruled out
“Yes, there was actually information yesterday, it came from both Gazprom and the operating company. This is very alarming news, indeed we are talking about some kind of destruction in the pipe, it is not yet clear what kind, in the Danish economic zone,” Peskov told reporters.

“…This is an issue related to the energy security of the whole continent,” Peskov told reporters, commenting on the situation around Nord Stream.

According to the Danish Energy Agency, there are three possible causes of the gas leaks.

1. A shipwreck

2. Construction defect

3. Deliberate act

“It is of course worrying that there are three incidents roughly simultaneously.”

Occam's razor says only one of those, number 3, is likely to produce multiple failures at different points along the pipeline.

Who is responsible? Russia seems the least likely since they built the pipelines. Germany would also seem unlikely, except the current government is already destroying the economy. This is only an escalation of current German policy. The United States is also a potential culprit, as are anti-Russian and anti-German countries such as Poland. Whether regional players are capable or not, I cannot say. Although China hasn't shown itself to be aggressive in geopolitics outside of the South China Sea, if they are playing a realpolitik deep game, setting the United States and Russia against each other could be a goal. There's also ecoterrorists, though this seems beyond their capabilities.

For all the losses in the stock market, investors still seem oblivious to risks. This has all the hallmarks of a bear market given the amount of time and the destruction in smaller speculative companies, but major index declines have aborted at these levels before such as in 1998, 2011 and 2018. That is to say, U.S. large cap indexes have declined on par with corrections and small panics, not a world where bond and currency markets are crashing, Europe's main energy supply has been destroyed and the global economy is tipping into a deep recession.

eugyppius: German Energy Apocalypse Update V

Prices have increased vastly across the economy, and estimates are that up to 60 percent of German households are now committing their entire monthly income to cover the rising cost of living.
It is like the 2020 lockdowns, but it never ends. Consumer spending will collapse and with it will go the rest of the economy.
As the pressure builds and the first closures begin, Germany is entering an economic recession, and there are everyday renewed cracks in the political edifice. Minister President of Saxony Michael Kretschmer (CDU) – no fringe political figure – recently remarked that Germany “cannot do without Russian gas” and acknowledged that EU sanctions are to blame for the shortage, but he stopped short of demanding that Nord Stream 2 be opened; instead, he hopes for a return to Russian gas after the Ukraine war has ended.
Ending sanctions was a good solution until the pipeline was sabotaged. There's no way out for Germany. There is no way out for the world. The NY Federal Reserve Bank's DSGE model showing a mild recession that lasts until 2024 looks like a rosy scenario.

With markets oversold, a bounce seems likely, but with a caveat. Oversold conditions produce crashes and market indicators don't include everything. It's true that markets usually price everything into the market, but there are exceptions. One is when the people are delusional. As I've put it before, either losing a main source of energy isn't a big deal or the European economy will sink into depression. I don't see an alternative. The market is priced for "not a big deal."

This is a category of risks the Chinese like to call gray rhinos. Take China's bad debt and housing bubble. Everyone knows it's potentially a problem, but it isn't at the moment. I'd add situations such as Germany's energy situation into the mix. Everyone knows about it, but do they understand it? Many "shocks" and "black swans" are gray rhinos that people don't know about or don't understand. If China lets the yuan drop to USDCNY 8, that isn't a black swan. It's not even entirely a gray rhino because it's highly probable if current conditions continue. Yet markets would be "shocked" and "panic" if that happens.

The chart of the S&P 500 has a clear bullish foundation. The June low wasn't taken out. It looks like a potential double bottom. Markets are oversold. Bearish sentiment is widespread. A rally would give bull confidence and bears doubt because, if the market rallies on news that Germany's economy is guaranteed to collapse next year, then what won't it rally on? That will be the thinking.

I don't think this is anything except a relief rally until it gains at least another 1 percent. If it starts running towards 3800, then a more substantial rally could unfold.
All I see from bulls is very short-term oriented thinking, such as the bearish positioning among traders. I don't see them making a strong case for owning stocks here. I do see some talk from the value guys about locking in high treasury yields.
Longer term, the Western public is delusional. Their behavior during the pandemic, their slavish following of all media narratives up to an including the Ukraine war, their inability to distinguish between male and female. It is trivially easy to find social media accounts with a Ukraine emoji complaining about high energy prices and even blaming it on the right-wing, Russia or Trump voters. Smart money knows better, or does it? My suspicion is they do not. My suspicion is that even if they know better, they don't realize how many of their colleagues do not.

There is a confidence about the world that is wholly unwarranted. The mainstream was shocked by 100 predictable elections in Sweden and Italy. Events I and others have been expecting for the past decade come to pass and many people lose their minds because their concept of the world is divorced from reality. There is a moment of intense shock when one realizes their view of the world is 180 degrees out of step with reality. This shock is going to make its way into the financial markets. If not now, then sometime over the next 12 months. The shock can also come from a continuation of current events. What if the voting public in the USA is already so lost that they vote for more of the same? What if they burn the nation down, and then blame it all on white supremacists? What if the public believes it?

Short-term, I'm waiting for the bounce in stocks to finish. I expect it'll rally another 1 percent or so this morning. That's where I'll be looking to reenter short positions. The past few days saw several rallies. All of them were caused by strong performances from BigTech stocks such as Microsoft, Apple, Amazon and Google. A different mix each day, but always BigTech. It doesn't tell direction, but these stocks are propping up the market. If they give way, the market can plunge.

BTC remains one of the charts that sums up the whole market. It rallied strongly today and hasn't broken it's long-term uptrend. The slope of the line is very steep though, rising from a current $17,800 to around $19,000 by late November.

Not Much Smart Money Will Be Left

RT: Huge global storm is starting, Moscow warns
“Most likely, a huge global storm is starting,” Peskov warned in an interview with Tass on Monday.

“In many ways, there are objective reasons for that, but there are also subjective reasons for this beginning storm, which are linked to absolutely illogical and often absurd decisions and actions of the authorities in the US, Europe, the EU and individual European countries,” he said.

Anyone betting on the governments of the West is the dumb money (aside from a few outliers such as Hungary). Once the Gods of the Copybook Headings are released, political power is useless. What was "smart" for the past several decades is no longer smart because the people who used to control events are now at the mercy of Nature, and probably God's wrath. Maximize profits on the carnage until they ban shorting, close the futures markets and make it illegal to bet against them, at which point you hope you've bought enough physical assets plus the guns and ammo that may be needed to keep them.

Next Up: Partitioning Ukraine

The Saker: Will the Ukraine be partitioned next and, if so, how?
ranslation: MOSCOW, August 16 – RIA Novosti. Western curators have practically written off the Kyiv regime and are already planning the partition of Ukraine, Foreign Intelligence Service spokesman Colonel-General Volodymyr Matveev said at the Moscow Conference on International Security. “Obviously, the West is not concerned about the fate of the Kyiv regime. As can be seen from the information received by the SVR, Western curators have almost written it off and are in full swing developing plans for the division and occupation of at least part of the Ukrainian lands,” he said. However, according to the general, much more is at stake than Ukraine: for Washington and its allies, it is about the fate of the colonial system of world domination.
It sounds as if Western support for Kiev is ending:
Several countries in the West are waiting for Kiev to surrender and think their problems will immediately solve themselves, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba in an interview published on Tuesday. “I often get asked in interviews and while speaking to other foreign ministers: how long will you last? That’s instead of asking what else could be done to help us defeat Putin in the shortest time possible,” Kuleba said, noting that such questions suggest that everyone “is waiting for us to fall and for their problems to disappear on their own.”
VoxDay: The Partition of Ukraine
This anticipated partition would be a very good thing, as it would mark to an end the war between Russia and NATO by the surrender of the latter. The problem is that it will almost certainly require the European “partners” to break with the neocons who presently dictate US foreign policy, and the neocons are more than willing to fight to the very last European – yes, European, not Ukrainian – rather than give up their revenge war against Russia.

So, as fearful as the European leaders rightly are – they are terrified of their native populations going all Sri Lanka on their useless, cowardly selves once the winter shortages kick in – I don’t believe they are fully cognizant of the consequences of the Russian victory due to the media gaslighting, so they are reluctant to throw off their globalist masters and give up the fancy pants and lollipops that come with their submission.

Which means that I don’t think the nations that matter – France, Germany, and the UK – will give up and accept the new geopolitical reality until the winter of 2023 extinguishes all hope of reprieve, unless the coming winter is even worse than we’re expecting and the citizenries explode in open revolt.

Here is the post-war map that Medvedev posted, with the current map for comparison:
How likely is this? Here's an interesting news item from Vox's post: Germany wants to retake Polish soil — official
Since the reunification of Germany in 1990, Berlin’s strategic goal is to “regain in some form their former lands, which are now within Polish borders, and subordinate the entire belt of countries between Germany and Russia,” the Polish official said.
Can Russia obtain peace and splinter the EU by offering Poland historically Polish lands?

Beyond the geopolitics, I still believe that this round of a multi-year, perhaps decade-long bear market will complete when the EU surrenders to Russia and accepts that the Baizuo of USG have destroyed Ukraine. There was a rumor of a peace offer back in July that didn't materialize, but eventually it will come one way or another. On the European side, the self-inflicted pain from sanctions will pressure the Europeans.

Poor Baizuo

Tragically hilarious. Newsweek: Zelensky Makes Public Plea to China's Xi Jinping After Calls Unanswered
In an interview with Hong Kong's South China Morning Post published on Thursday—his first with an Asian news outlet—Zelensky said he had sought a direct line to his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, since the Russian invasion began more than 160 days ago.

"I would like to talk directly. I had one conversation with [President] Xi Jinping that was a year ago," he told the Post's Amy Chew. "Since the beginning of the large-scale aggression on February 24, we have asked officially for a conversation, but we (haven't had) any conversation with China even though I believe that would be helpful."

How sad is it that the Ukrainian people have suffered and died because they have a clueless GAE puppet for a leader? How stupid is Zelensky to not understand Russia and China are aligned and he is a tool of GAE aggression?

That 2008 Feel: Henan Rolls Out the Tanks to Protect PBoC

See Banking Failures in Henan Persist for background on the ongoing saga of Henan banking problems. Protests escalated this month and it is claimed this is video of that same People's Bank of China building where large protests took place a couple of weeks ago.
Back in 2008, everyone took their eye off China for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, but in reality the country was sending a strong warning about the health of the global economy. Once again, we're rolling into August with a rally in stocks (indexes bounced in late August in 2008) while China shows signs of severe economic stress.

Bear Rally Turbo Charger in Play

I believe a rally has begun. It should last for several weeks. If Russia makes a peace offering, the long stocks and short oil ideas I've been running with will be greatly helped.
I know what awaits us. As soon as Vladimir Putin has done his work in Seversk, Bakhmut and Soledar, after reaching the second line Slaviansk-Kramatorsk-Avdeevka, he will come up with a proposal. And if they [the West] don’t accept it, – and they won’t – all hell will break loose...

President of Serbia Alexander Vucic.

RT: Ukraine conflict is already a world war – Serbia

Assume he is floating this information on behalf of Putin or he has accurate inside information. How long until Putin makes his offer?

Moon of Alabama: Ukraine SitRep - Additional Defense Lines, A Failed Counterattack, Weapon Deliveries

The artillery preparations for the next push had began immediately after the fall of Lysichansk. The 'week or two' have passed and the attack on the next defensive line (yellow line in the east) from Siversk to Kurdiumivka has begun. Yesterday ground fighting was reported within Siversk and Soledar.
I see two of the cities mentioned by the Serbian President are on that line. Avdeevka (Google map spelling) is due south of Petrivka, slightly past the bottom of the yellow line on the left. Google maps says Avdeevka is about 1 hour away by car. Since Russia is already moving on these cities, how long until they fall? How long after that could Putin make his offer?
In a week or two the line down from Siversk to Krasna Hora will probably be under Russian control. Bakhmut, which is very fortified, may take a few more days to fall. The battle will then move to the next defensive line further west (also marked in yellow). That line is anchored in the north on Sloviansk which has a railway line (black) coming in from the west. That railway line allows the Ukrainians to supply their current frontline with heavy artillery ammunition and fuel. Sloviansk will be attacked from the northwest, the northeast and southeast. The force disposition map below shows that the Ukrainian defenses in that area are rather weak.

....The two in the east (right side) will fall within the next two or three weeks.

There are military maps at the link along with many more details.

Putting the pieces together

I've been looking for a rally in stocks for a few of weeks. I've been talking about a long plays for almost a month now. I first posted on biotech one day after it made its low for the year: If You Gotta Buy, Buy Biotech You can see ensuing posts by clicking on the XBI and IBB tags. For more posts, see the XLC and SMH tags. Almost all market-related posts are under the Charts tag.

Without going into all the details, the rally is mainly predicated on a pullback in inflation, recession risk, increasing expectation of a Fed "pivot" of some kind (see the Eurodollar curve Jeff Snider is always watching) along with an old fashioned short-squeeze.

If Putin makes a peace offer of any kind, the immediate impact on the markets would be plummeting commodity prices, most importantly oil. This would alleviate recession risk, but also inflation risk and general fear in markets. Investors would become extremely bullish when it hits the wire. Depending on where markets are at the time, it could be the fuel for a peak in a bear market rally. I suspect stretch rally targets (20 to 25 percent off the low) would be hit in a Russia peace offer scenario.

The next move would be based on the Western response. Sadly, I'm with the Serbian President at the moment. The West has shown no sign it is willing to pull back from this war. That would guarantee the Russian offer might top-tick a rally. However, even Western sources have reported on the lack of weapons and manufacturing capacity in NATO countries. If the war escalated right now and NATO didn't achieve a quick victory, maybe they could stalemate Russia because there's a lot of territory Russia would have to cover. Maybe Russia would sit back and fight a defensive war. Would China open a second front in the Pacific though? Or openly support Russia with an economic blockade of the West? Western leaders are psychotic and seem insane, but are they that stupid? One can make a lot of stupid assumptions, but "we don't have enough weapons, we can only fight for about X weeks" is not something that can be brushed off. I don't have enough area knowledge to speculate on these matters, so will leave it at that. I pray that peace will come to Ukraine, Russia and the West. Whether is does or does not, you have been forewarned about a potentially major event coming as soon as August.

Countdown to WW3 and American Civil War 3

The U.S. has fought two civil wars: the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. The next one, if it happens, will be far more brutal. VD: The USA’s Last War
No matter which way you slice it, I suspect the war will turn into a variety of sieges of Blue cities by Red armies. This is exasperated by the fact that every state in Team Red is geographically contiguous, while every state in Team Blue is split into about three or four islands. The Republicans in the Spanish Civil War faced the same problem, and Franco’s plan to defeat in detail was made the path of least resistance by the drawing of the battle lines.

These sieges will be an absolute bitch. Not only will the massive concentration of urban buildings act as a natural fortress, the United States Interstate System was built to simultaneously serve as military infrastructure and urban fortifications. Ever notice how the Interstates loop around major cities like walls? Ever notice spaces dug for mortar pits, ammo dumps, staging areas for motor-pools (rest stops,) and that each major city has an international airport within that loop of Interstate wall? This is to say nothing about Air Defense assets, which combined with the International Airport will almost assure local air superiority for the defenders of blue cities. Also consider that the Urban battlefield has become 4d, as metro systems and other such tunnels will need to be fought through and won.

The war’s outcome will never be in doubt. But it will be long, and it will cost more lives than we’ve ever thought possible. I can assure the dear reader that America will never be the same afterwards.

The map of the 2016 election helps one visualize why a siege war would unfold. Most purple states and even some blue states like New York are an island of blue in a sea of red.
From the original source of the quotes above:
This will not be the romance of 1861-1865. Names and legends will be born, as they are in all wars, but they’ll be a small conciliation to the sheer weight of loss that will follow. I doubt it will break America, but it will age it. Even our ideals on the Right-Wing side of things, our justified hatred of the current order and hope to change it, won’t be enough. We may even forget it after the first five minutes, when no one will remember why the war was fought in the first place. Only that we’re Team Red and they’re Team Blue.

I find it very strange. Not thirty years ago, Gettysburg (1993) was released to great reception across the nation. Reenacting was widespread and commonplace. Old men, many veterans of WWII and Vietnam, looked back on that long past war as a reminder of their new national unity. Confederate flags were rarely given a second glance. Robert E. Lee was regarded as a great man, and both northerners and southerners felt old wounds had finally healed.

Now, any bar in America has a MAGA Boomer talking about the Second Civil War.

Time is a flat circle.

How likely is a civil war? I don't know. I do think that even in the rosiest of scenarios, the overturning of Roe points to the future. Blue and Red states are already ignoring federal laws on immigration and drugs. Red states and counties have hinted they'll ignore federal gun control laws. States are going to become very different places to live in. If worried about war, exit the cities. Live someplace that is deep red/blue because it's more likely those places will become more red or more blue to your liking if that's where you want to be, and to your frustration if not.

Will Russia Win?

Will Russia Win?
First, the Ukrainians are not fighting a guerrilla war. Instead, as the list of weapons they have asked the West to provide them with shows, they have been trying to wage a conventional one: tank against tank, artillery barrel against artillery barrel, and aircraft against aircraft. All, apparently, in the hope of not only halting the Russian forces but of expelling them. Given that the Russians can fire ten rounds for every Ukrainian one, such a strategy can only be a sure recipe for defeat.
This is complicated by the fact that Russia is mostly occupying ethnic Russian territory. They aren't, yet, going for the whole thing, though they might get it if Ukraine keeps fighting a conventional war against them.
Fourth, strict censorship is making the impact of Western economic sanctions on Russia’s population hard to asses. If there is any grumbling, it is being energetically suppressed. Meanwhile, a look at the macroeconomics seems to show that Russia is coping much better than many Westerners expected. Gold reserves have been inching up, enabling Putin to link his currency to gold—the first country to do so since Switzerland went in the opposite direction back in 1999. The Ruble, which early in the war came close to collapse, is back to a seven-year high against the dollar, trend upward. Given the fall in imports as well as the tremendous rise in energy prices, more money is flowing into Russia’s coffers than ever before.
The opposite is true in Europe, they are being wrecked. The U.S. is on balance fine, but at the cost of crushing the middle and lower class. A bonus for the Baizuo while in power, so long as they maintain power.
Should it continue, as it almost certainly will, it will give rise to growing popular discontent with the war and demands that their countries’ involvement in it be reduced or brought to an end. Even if that end means abandoning Ukraine and allowing Putin to have his way with it.
Peace is unequivocally the sane policy.
Last not least, beginning with the Enlightenment the West has long preened itself on being a fortress where liberty, law and justice prevail. Now the repeated, highly publicized, requisitioning of the property of so-called oligarchs is beginning to make some people wonder. First, no one knows what an “oligarch” is. Second, the fact that some “oligarchs” have been in more or less close touch with Putin over the years does not automatically turn them into criminals. Third, supposing they are criminals, it is not at all clear why they were left alone for so long and only began to be targeted after the war broke out. Could it be that, in combating the oligarchs, the West is undermining the justice of its cause?
The Globalist American Empire is an Empire of Lies. USG is a liar and rebelling against the Creator. At the intellectual level, it is approaching the level of the Soviets and Nazis when it comes to their false beliefs and propaganda. They not only deserve to lose, but anyone who loves Truth should be actively working to defeat the GAE regime in Washington, and for Americans, replace it with a regime focused on truth, justice and liberty. The GAE will lose. The Empire of Lies will collapse like the Soviet Union. The question for Americans as a people is will they go down with it? Thus far, the answer is yes.

The End of the Baizuo

Whom do you serve? Who are you loyal to and who is loyal to you? Who are your people? Russia is fighting for the preservation of humanity
Before we talk about the image of our future, I would like to draw your attention to the patterns of long-term socio-economic and political development. We – I mean a group of scientists from the Academy of Sciences who work in long cycles of economic and social development-first of all, we managed to foresee this particular war in 2022. Back in the 14th year, it was clear that the challenge that we faced and the result of which was reunification with the Crimea, will necessarily affect the entire Russian world, including the territory of Ukraine. I even published a book, "The Last World War: The United States Starts and Loses."

Somewhere, what we see today was absolutely and almost precisely formulated, including the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces and the role of the Americans and the British in this occupation of Ukraine, as well as the cultivation of Ukrainian Nazism. All this was predicted almost to the last detail. We are continuing our research. According to which the peak of the confrontation falls on 2024. This is the forecast that my colleague gave 10 years ago, even before the current military operation and even before 2014. And then there were no new political seven-year cycles.

Why 2024 and why are we in such a situation of hybrid warfare? The fact is that the modern period is characterized by two simultaneous revolutionary events. The first is the technological revolution, which used to be talked about a lot. It is called differently, we say that it is a change of technological structures. And always this change in technological patterns occurs through the economic depression, which in this cycle began in the world in 2008 – with the beginning of the global financial crisis.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, which was the first to fail to meet the demands of scientific and technological progress, we now see the collapse of the United States. The United States is no longer a world leader. In an attempt to overcome the global financial crisis by pumping money, the United States eventually led the situation to the breakdown of the entire financial system and increasing inflation, which is already reaching 30% at enterprise prices.

We saw the self-discrediting of the American system in the last presidential election, which was virtually rigged. America is not a more attractive image. In addition, compared to China and India, which have been doing brilliantly over the past 15 years, both the US and the EU, despite a fourfold increase in the monetary base, have not been able to embark on sustainable economic development. The efficiency of the Western management system — here, if we take the efficiency - the money issue is 20-25%. Only every 4th or 5th euro that is issued gets into the manufacturing sector.

In China and India have developed a fundamentally different management system that combines strategic central planning with market competition, where the state plays a dominant role in organizing money circulation and provides private businesses with unlimited access to money if this leads to an increase in public welfare.

All forecasts show that by the end of this decade, the old world economic structure will be reduced by more than half by now, and the core of the Asian accumulation cycle - China, India, Indochina, Japan, and Korea - will already be absolutely dominant in all macroeconomic indicators.

This process is irreversible, but the closer this obvious transition is, the less forces remain in the core of the old world economic system, the more aggressive they become. This is where the same hybrid warfare mechanism that the British used in both World War I and World War II works. We called them hybrid wars because they were fought over territory.

The bit about China and India reminds me of how I'd like to see credit reformed. There should be unlimited credit, as the market can bear and with no bailout provision, for self-extinguishing debt. That is, companies should be allowed to take on unlimited amounts of debt provided they pay it back, as in borrowing to repay funds is illegal. If a company borrows to build a factory, profits from the factory must repay the debt. Consumer credit is outlawed. Mortgages would have to be strictly regulated if they are allowed to exist at all.

The piece also compares Chinese, Russian and Western concepts of profit and goal of the economy. It is a fair criticism of the West that is now extractive in its pursuit of profit, but this is also a result of the planned diversity. By making the country diverse, it breaks communities that are tied by religion, ethnicity and so on. The link between worker and owner is severed. The owner doesn't care for your welfare because he doesn't have to, but also because in many cases, he isn't you. He is, effectively, a foreigner. Whereas is homogenous communities, one can still find smaller scale industries that treat their employees like their family. The piece touches on this:

That is, the main ideological vector is the deprivation of people of any collective identity. National identity, gender identity. In general, the human identity even. People begin to perceive themselves as anything-cyborgs, animals, plants.

Dehumanization is underway, and this kind of posthuman material is embedded in easily manipulated and artificial intelligence, replacing ideologues, in general, imposing their own behavior models on this posthuman world and forcing people to behave as the world's artificial oligarchic management needs.

The future is going to be more religious, whether it moves in a Christian socialist direction or in a Christian capitalist direction:
The question is, what should be the ideology here? Obviously, it should be based on traditional values. In short, this should be the image of Christian socialism that has already been largely vulgarized in Europe. With the understanding that we have not only Christian socialism, but also Islamic socialism, Buddhist socialism. I would call this ideology a socially conservative synthesis. A combination of traditional moral values that grew out of the great religions, with the demands of social justice, the social state and the development state.
Russia is very open about what they are opposing. As I said many years ago at the start of Russiagate, I can see how Baizuo would imagine an alliance between Russia and a subset of right-wing Americans because we share the same enemy. And many who were anti-communist, but not anti-Russian, have been horrified by the U.S. conduct towards Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union. An era of great change is underway. Decades are about to be compressed into years.

Hope You Like WWIII

Gory to Ukraine
The ending is that Washington, not liking to lose, doubles down by picking a direct fight with Russia—for example, by doing exactly what it is doing now with Lithuania. And Putin, foolishly, takes the bait. Folks, I hate to exaggerate, but this is actually kind of a realistic pathway to World War III.
I don't know how people cannot see that Western governments are leading their nations into a genocidal war. I don't get it. Many of the same people who were screaming about masks and lockdowns are cheering on nuclear annihilation. Being clown world, the same people who think Putin is Hitler seem to not think a nuclear strike on New York or DC is possible, despite Russia's military doctrine allowing for first strike and asymmetrical use of nuclear weapons. People who were hiding under their beds from covid, crying themselves to sleep because of Trump, mostly live in what are prime targets for a limited Russian nuclear strike. Many of the same people who irrationally fear CO2 emissions will heat the planet a few degrees over a century aer risking heating many of its cities to the temperature of the Sun instantaneously.

Jingoism, xenophobia and irrational nationalism don't surprise me. That the people who scream loudest about tolerance, fighting hate, anti-racism and so on are the most demonic haters in society no longer shocks me. But the fact that so many people saw the true face of this regime over the past two years and fought mask mandates, closed schools, lockdowns and mandatory vaccines, and then flipped on a dime to supporting a foreign policy that is destroying the economy (almost all of the "inflation" is the leftover price premium caused by Russia sanctions) and risks nuclear war shocks me. During the Cold War, Americans and Soviets worked on avoiding nuclear conflict despite their vast ideological differences. Today, there's borderline bloodlust from the American ruling class (and Putin too if you think he's Hitler 2.0). They will destroy the American economy, the currency, and risk getting nuked in their pursuit of Russia. They've also baited the hook for Putin. I can only hope Russia can do what Allies did in 1948 and break the blockade:

With their blockade, the Soviets cut some 2.5 million civilians in the three western sectors of Berlin off from access to electricity, as well as food, coal and other crucial supplies. Though the Red Army far outnumbered Allied military forces in and around Berlin, the United States and Britain retained control of three 20-mile-wide air corridors from West Germany into West Berlin, according to written agreements with the Soviet Union from 1945.

Beginning June 26, 1948, two days after the blockade was announced, U.S. and British planes carried out the largest air relief operation in history, transporting some 2.3 million tons of supplies into West Berlin on more than 270,000 flights over 11 months.
