Here’s a sign of the progressive times. On Friday federal judge William Young withdrew an earlier opinion approving a temporary new admissions plan for three elite Boston public schools. The new plan substitutes grades and zip codes for a competitive entrance exam, which appears designed to reduce the number of white and Asian-American students.

Judge Young said he took this extraordinary step—the first in his 36-year judicial career—because the school system’s attorneys had misled him by excluding from the court racially charged text messages sent by two Boston School Committee members involved in the admissions decision.

The texts were sent during the virtual meeting when the admissions changes were approved, and they suggest there was racial animus behind the decision. Committee member Lorna Rivera, for example, sent a message to fellow member Alexandra Oliver-Dávila saying she was “sick of westie whites.”

“Me too,” Ms. Oliver-Dávila replied. “I really feel like saying that.” Committee chairman Michael Loconto mocked the Asian names of some of those who commented.

This isn't an isolated incident. This is how leftists speak about Whites and Asians all over the country. This is how universities, corporations, media, government and now K-12 educators teach children and adults to think and speak about Whites and Asians. This is what diversity seminars teach. Everything related to "diversity" must be torn up root and branch, thrown in the ash bin of history and set alight to ensure it can't crawl out again. The entire ruling class is guilty. Most by actively participating, the rest by staying silent. A corrupt parasitic ruling class sucking cash from the taxpayer and Federal Reserve to keep their bankrupt systems, be it corporations, banks or hospitals and universities, from collpasing under the weight of their centrally planned economic systems. The economy has been frozen for more than a decade as the ruling class extracts every last dollar possible before the system they created implodes. Diversity and critical race theory keeps competition from rising up against the ruling class. It keeps economic classes separated by race. It keeps talented people who would quickly replace the ruling class from ever rising up. Instead, lower quality minorities are brought it to shield the mediocre ruling class. They are building an incompetent, kleptocratic apartheid system out in the open, and many fools who should know better go along with it because they fear the mob.
