Why Did Dissidents Get Everything Right About Coronavirus?

The answer is simple. Common sense, intelligence, reason and even science are banished from public conversation. To question is to signal dissent. To dissent is to be seditious, a traitor, conspiracy theorist, an extremist. Among people who value Truth, it usually shakes out. The ruling class has become a cuddle puddle where people share feelings and signal how much they agree with the group. Many formerly mainstream people find themselves kicked out for violating these norms. Naomi Wolf is a visting fellow at AIER, liberal commentator Bill Maher seem like he's one or two more faux pas away from being "canceled," Glenn Greenwald was fired by the news outlet he founded.

As for coronavirus, it was helpful that I read Chinese news and was aware of the virus in December. Most of the information I learned from Chinese news sources through February was better information, with a few execptions, than even what the U.S. government reports today. For example, from the start Chinese people knew N95 masks can stop the virus, not surgical masks. The U.S. is still not informing the public of this reality.

Here on this blog back in late January, I assumed coronavirus was already spreading all over the USA. I read articles quoting experts who said the risk was low. Advantage common sense.

Coronavirus is another potential catalyst. Governments around the world are pumping money into the economy. China's preparing a hefty stimulus effort and has already set much of it in motion. If coronavirus is contained, and the evidence currently says it is contained, this stimulus is the opposite of China's recent deleveraging effort. The government does not want a surge in debt, it wants to bend the credit growth curve without triggering a recession or financial crisis. It has been trying to do that slowly, such that a momentary reversal cause by a jump in credit growth could undo years of effort. Additionally, depending on how fast the stimulus hits and how long it takes the economy to return to full production, there could be a mismatch of demand and supply. Stimulus in a slowed economy where some goods and services are not being produced creates extreme pricing pressure. Chinese pork prices rose 116 percent in the year ended January because asian swine flu wiped out Chinese supply. Pumping more money cannot grow pigs any faster, but it can immediately increase the price of pork. Supply-chains are currently slowed down or stopped, such as auto parts and electronic components. It may only take one or two price shocks in a key component to generate wider inflation in an industry. Higher prices spark malinvestment by businesses responding to the price signal. Assets (stocks) in these companies will rise on growth expectations. If this is not contained or reverse, it will expand into a general inflation.

Everything except that last bit has happened, and I'm still on the fence about it because there are still powerful disinflationary forces. Yet it is true that stimulus didn't work, and mostly caused distortions that will themselves cause further damage in the months and years ahead.

The CDC has been a disaster every step of the way. Correct. Still stupid. Even more stupid than seems possible with self-contradicting rules and statements.

Maybe the system will skate because coronavirus turns out to be far less a threat than it seems today. Or maybe, America is about to suffer a major blow to its institutions, public trust, and eventually its dominant ideology. Going back to my view that social mood is in decline and a stealth depression is being masked by the stock market (a broken mood indicator because of central banks), the public reaction will go far beyond what was seen after 9/11 or Katrina. This could be the event that triggers that 4th Turning many have been waiting for.

Although I didn't write about it here, (at least I didn't put a coronavirus tag on it if I did) was the lab leak hypothesis and gain of function research. My Occam's Razor said it was a lab leak. Whether natural or manmade I couldn't say. The evidence that gain-of-function research was involved was prevalent in the online right though. One theory I've stuck with is that gain-of-function is the least popular theory among the ruling class because if it was gain-of-function research, it implicates science. It implicates the U.S. government and specifically Dr. Facui who funded this research at the Wuhan lab in direct contradiction of an Obama Administration order to halt this research. (Evidence posted here.) Scientists do not want to be regulated, the U.S. government and Dr. Fauci do not want to admit they played a role in manufacturing this pandemic, be it accidental or not.

Note that up until about a month ago, when 60 Minutes decided it was time to tell the truth, that almost every single mainstream and "credible" source claimed the lab leak theory was a conspiracy, a racist conspiracy, and other nonsense claims with zero evidence. They shovel absolute bullshit to the public 24/7 and that is why I trust exactly zero percent of what they report unless I've verified it myself or via a trusted source.

Now there's research piling up that indicates the U.S. vaccines are harmful because the spike protein that they tell your body to make (to teach it to fight it) is actually the most harmful part of the coronavirus. Healthy people dropping dead from blood clots and other reactions makes sense if their body is pumping them full of spike proteins, particularly if they become infected with coronavirus between their first and second shot.

It gets better. Now there's research showing exposure to cold viruses (a specific one, see the link) confers some protection against severe cases. Some common cold viruses are coronavirus. Why don't children get sick from coronavirus? Because they get colds every year. Moreover, the risk from NOT having been exposed to a cold virus EXCEEDS that from being elderly or obese. Get that? If that's true, it might mean that keeping grandchildren away from their grandparents increased the risk to the grandparents! It means children not being in school was the exact opposite of a good idea. It means the OCD-level sanitation going on in classrooms may be counterproductive. Given the arc of the story, what are the odds this is all going to be proven correct?

Why Dissidents Are Increasingly Right About Almost Eveything

I don't get everything right. Sometimes my distrust of everything mainstream goes too far like here, when it sure looked like a fake video of Biden. Turned out it was real. But guess what, even when real photos are put out, the mainstream is acting as if nobody believes anything they say: Bidens appear to tower over Carters in photo during Georgia visit. On the flip side, I'm skeptical that enough votes were stolen in 2020 to swing the election (there clearly was some fraud), but the way things are going, I'm not very confident in that position. The sources that steer me right on so much else are quite confident about that. Yet the former is not really a big issue, not compared to things like Russiagate (an obvious hoax from the start) or betting on Trump to win in 2016. Just kidding, there's no career for truth-tellers in the USA anymore. You make your money the hard way in the bloodsoaked arena of the financial markets or you get a sandwich board/Twitter account and shout into the void.

What Do Words Even Mean These Days

How do you speak? Do you use the vernacular, do you speak a dialect? I often use terms like "Racist" and "far-right" exactly as the left means them because that's how people understand it. If a leftist calls me a racist I'd say, "Yup." As they define it, I am absolutely a raging racist. In objective terms, I'm not a racist because that would conflict with my Christianity. How are we to speak though? I'm done debating the left, therefore I'm done caring about being called names. These words have little information content. It tells you more about the speaker than the target. People who use words like racist reveal their ignorance, low education and bigotry. Terms like far-right as used by the mainstream, USG, schools and media refers to common sense, reason and objectivity. This isn't an overstatement, far from it. This has been explicitly taught in leftist institutions, which is to say all of America's major institutions down to your local public school, since at least the early 2000s.

Let that sink in, really sink in. The general public using these terms have no idea what they even mean anymore, but as for people concoting this ideology, being objective equals white supremacy. They're using words to mesmerize the public. As post-modernists, they do not believe words have any real meaning, no Truth behind them. They believe truth is subjective. They say things like, "My truth." If racism is bad, if white supremacy is bad, then call whatever you personally believe is bad "racism" and "white supremancy. The unsuspecting go along with the authorities (media, government, schools) because they trust them, and because they don't investigate anything. America is the least racist country in the world in reality, but a good portion of it thinks America is the most evil country ever. The ruling class knows it isn't evil, but they hate America. They hate the traditional American people, the Anglo-Saxon, Gerrmanic and Christian roots from culture and religion and including the blood. Until we have a Rectification of Names though, the NPC public will be confused. If you tell NPCs that brushing your teeth is white supremacy, they will stop brushing their teeth. (NPC stands fo Non-player character. They are one-dimensional characters in role-playing games and video games. They serve a single purpose, such as telling the player a single piece of information. You cannot interact with these players, they will only repeat one or more stock phrases. The NPCs of the world only repeat whatever the authorities tell them. You can't interact with them. They will scream "racist" or "whataboutism" whenever they confront a logical contradiction or "hate fact" that invaildates their false worldview.) The conservative right, officals and politicians in the GOP and many of their supporteres, are stuck in a constant losing battle because they dont't realize the names are wrong, the names are fake. They think they're really being called white supremacist or racist, or they know it is fake, but lack the courage to confront the enemy head on.

Trust No One Official

Yes, there are some real racists and Nazis out there, but 99 percent of the "far-right" are normal people who objectively assess situations and debate each other about it. When you hear the mainstream use terms like "racist" they mean it in the sense above: "Hey that guy is using his brain and thinking, he's not repeating the progressive/woke narrative. Bad man! Bad!" To the extent an actual far-right is growing, it's because people are getting fed up. I do not believe most of the public believes this stuff or even understands it. They are brainwashed to hear "racist" and go along with a small cadre of psychotic, traitorous members of the ruling class who cooked up the Russiagate lie to remove Trump, cook up chemical attacks to incite a war with Syria that they hope will expand to a war with Russia, or directly incite a war with Russia via Ukraine, when they're not destroying the U.S. economy with lockdowns based on the exact opposite of science, while tearing down America's history, culture and law as they demoize the very nation they rule over. The left is building to tools for a "far-right" government by creating the police powers that an American right-wing government would never propose itself. USG is right now setting up a domestic spy agency to target Trump voters. There is talk of a new agency to "combat disinformation" i.e. the Truth. An American regime could turn all of this police power against the ruling class itself and remove them from the United States before dissolving all these agencies and powers. That seems like the best outcome at this point.

To tie this all up, the point is the people who speak the truth are branded as racists, xenophobes, homophobes, transphobes, misogynist etc. The ruling class is illegitimate. Part of it has been for decades, but now it is majority illegitimat. USG is not the government of the American people. It is an occupation government that hates everything about America. This is a 4G war for control over the United States. The first casualty of war is the Truth. Every regime outlet pumps lies all the time. Dissidents of all stripes, including those on the left, are going to tell you the Truth or at least try to get at it, because they believe in it.

We are in a civil war right now. The country is fractured into information nations. If you are on the "far-right," and I will even include Nazis and some other fringe extremists in here, even those guys have a better grasp of reality because they have to rub shoulders with the rest of the right and they read independet voices across the political spectrum. Leftists who stick to the truth are jettisoned into ghettos, like Glenn Greenwald writing on Substack after being fired by the very paper he founded (The Intercept) for being insufficiently Woke. We're not at the point yet where being for the Truth makes one "far-right," but we are already in the stage where being for Truth makes one unwelcome within the dominant ideolgoy of the Left, which also happens to be the dominant ideology of the USA if we're measuring by control over institutions. We aren't yet at the point where people are killed for being insufficiently Woke, but they are being fired, banned and canceled.

Your choice is to fight for Truth, speak the Truth and oppose the Liars, or accept that whoever does speak against them will eventually rule the United States, assuming it doesn't descend into a totalitarian hellscape similar with an episode similar to China's Cultural Revolution, the Reign of Terror in Revolutionary France or Pol Pot shooting everyone with glasses (oh that's absurd you might think, but did you see this: California seeks end of advanced math courses in name of social justice). Whether you are willing to see the trend or not doesn't change the fact that it's there. History tells us where this is headed if it isn't shut down. If you wait long enough and do nothing, eventually the only people left opposing the regime will be legimiate extremists, and then you're stuck with whatever wacko scheme they cook up. There isn't a happy ending when good men do nothing in the face of evil.
