GDP Now First Estimate of 2022Q1 GDP Growth: 0.1pc

The Atlanta Fed doesn't like the initial data. Do note that this model is ultra volatile at the start. This is the first estimate for Q1 2022 and there isn't much data yet. Early data is more heavily weighted because data is added as it comes in. The model is a great for showing the "velocity" in data as it adjusts. By March the GDP Now model starts adjusting more slowly. The government's first estimate will come at the end of April.
