Is anything a “store of value” in this environment? I want to buy a hobby farm in a foreign land, outside the financial “shystem”. (H/T Johnny Rotten). But, almost all my money is in the frigging 401k. What’s the “one weird trick” to preserving purchasing power?
That has to be the worst investment mandate I've ever seen in an ESG fund. There was a good one from Parnassus, they used to own oil and nuclear, it was sort of the best in ESG without restricting too many sectors, but I think they became more "woke" and ditched those.
