It Worked

I posted Tempting the Fates at the close. Major indexes had bounced off their lows, but only made another lower high at the close. The market finally broke that trend after hours. The rally looks like it will have some legs. Hong Kong is up more than 2 percent at the moment.

Now it's a matter of looking for anomalies. Example, Verisign is still below the trendline.

It should recover that trendline tomorrow. If for some reason it can't, that signals there's some stock-specific risk hanging over the shares. Google should get to its gap and clear it tomorrow or Friday assuming the market keeps rising.

EEM is almost through the short-term resistance line.
