Baizuo Beginning to Look Ahead

This is not bad news for the American people, but it is very bad news for the current ruling class.
Elsewhere, Michael Hudson gave a speech to China’s Global University: The End of Western Civilization
What has made the Western economies oligarchic is their failure to protect the citizenry from being driven into dependency on a creditor property-owning class. These economies have retained Rome’s creditor-based laws of debt, most notably the priority of creditor claims over the property of debtors. The creditor One Percent has become a politically powerful oligarchy despite nominal democratic political reforms expanding voting rights. Government regulatory agencies have been captured and taxing power has been made regressive, leaving economic control and planning in the hands of a rentier elite.
A laser guided missile into the Baizuo. Much more at the link.

  1. Tangentially, here’s an interesting read: https://covertactionmagazine.com/2021/01/14/deconstructing-jfk-a-coup-detat-over-foreign-policy/

  2. LZ, do you have mainland family and friends? From speaking with them, do you have any sense of the comparative “adverse effects” of China’s “inactivated whole virus” vaccines versus the mRNA experiments? I avoided subjecting myself to anything, so far. Am wondering whether to take CoronaVac, if I tour a country where it’s available.

    1. Haven't heard anything specific from Mainland about it, but have heard them say they think US vaccines are more effective. Chinese mostly buy into the health panic.

    2. Thanks, LZ.

I briefly researched Coronavac months ago and again today. Oceania articles always starts with the “only 50% effective [against mild cases]” meme. Many end there. But, some go on to admit CoronaVac is just as effective against severe cases and death. Other deeper articles report it causes the same or fewer adverse effects (differs by type).

Since I prefer the risk of mild symptoms over the risk of random adverse effects, for the past year, CoronaVac was and remains the only jab I’ll still consider (solely to gain a certificate for travel — not because I distrust my natural immunity).

But, the studies still don’t satisfy me. I skimmed a few posted on NIH. They limit their study period to a mere 21 days after the jab. Maybe that’s okay for the old tech on which CoronaVac relies. I’m not thrilled about it though. (IMO, it’s especially nuts to limit study to 21 days for jabs that *reprogram* your *own* cells to create a protein your body then attacks — a revolutionary experiment.)
