Bonds Sap Rally Strength

Stocks are surprisingly strong despite weakness in bonds. VIX is actually up on the day, despite the major indexes well into the green. One can only shake their head at the gross incompetence in DC. All it would take here is a little move towards energy production and the markets could experience a strong rally. It darkens the outlook that these people are incapable of it, likely because at this point, they desperately need the votes of greens. I noticed them all over social media this weekend. The heat wave in Western Europe ignited excitement among the doomsday cultists. They want much more of the very policies collapsing the West's economy and institutions. It's like watching the Custer take his last stand.
